Final Chapter :(

The rest of the time was spent with Vernon and I packing our belongings in silence. It felt a little awkward, but the air was lighter than before. Soon, there was a knock on our door. Vernon walked over to answer it while I put my last few items in my bag and zipped them up.

"Oh, hi hyung." Vernon said in a monotone voice. I half expected it to see Seungcheol at our door, but to my surprise it was Minghao standing there.

"HAO!" I yelled excitedly and wrapped him in a hug.

"I know I know, I haven't seen you in a whole day." He said ruffling my hair. "I just came to get you guys; everyone is pretty much ready to leave."

"Oh okay, we're ready also." I looked over at Vernon who nodded in agreement.

"Great let's go." Minghao said, ushering us to get our bags from the room.

Vernon and I both grabbed our luggage and followed Minghao. I took one last glance at our room, memories playing in my mind from throughout the trip. I felt a pang in my heart, recalling the conversation from earlier. I shook my head, trying not to think about it.

Eventually we made our way to the lobby where everyone else was gathered. I was standing at the back of the group next to Minghao while Vernon walked away to join Seungkwan and Mingyu in conversation.

"Did you have fun?" Minghao directed the question at me.

"Yeah... I did." I had a small smile on my face.

"I'm glad. Hopefully you had a chance to gain some clarity on everything." He smiled at me. I just nodded at him and looked towards the ground. I knew I had a lot I needed to tell him about the past few days. He started having a conversation with DK, leaving me standing there just looking around the hotel lobby. I assumed we were waiting for the cars to arrive to take us to the airport.

"How's my beautiful girlfriend?" I heard a deep voice whisper in my ear and arms wrap around my waist.

"That depends, who's asking?" I teased.

"Your handsome boyfriend, duh." Seungcheol kissed the back of my ear.

"Well in that case, I'm doing even better now that you're here." I looked at him over my shoulder.

"That's good to hear." I could hear the smile in his voice. "Are you ready to go home?"

"Kind of. I'm a little sad this break is over, but also ready to go back to my own home." I turned around to look at him properly. "But excited to start spending more alone time with you properly." I smiled.

"Good because I'm taking you back to your house when we get there and spending the night." He cheekily smiled.

"Yeah? And who gave you permission?" I crossed my arms.

"You when you said I could come over this morning."

"Oh yeah." I remembered our conversation when we were in bed. "Well good, I was going to ask for you to come over anyways."

"Mhm I'm sure you were." He chuckled.

Seungcheol leaned in towards me and we shared a secret kiss at the back of the group, but I could feel a set of eyes on us. When we parted, none other than Minghao was standing in front of us.

"Seems like you have a lot of explaining to do, don't you Sky." He raised an eyebrow.

"Haha ummm yeah I do." I sheepishly smiled at him.

"And you? We're going to have a talk also." Minghao pointed at Seungcheol who awkwardly smiled and nodded his head. "I leave you alone for one day..." He lightly smacked my arm.

"Hey! You should be happy for me!" I jokingly rubbed the spot he hit.

"I am! But you should've told me before I had to see it with my own eyes." He pretended to shudder in disgust. "But yes, I am very happy for you Sky." He pulled me into a hug.

"I'm very happy also." I smiled at him then looked at Seungcheol who was already smiling at me also.

"Let's go! We're going to be late!" We heard Jeonghan yelling from somewhere at the front of the group when he saw the cars pull up.

"Let's go lovebirds." Minghao said, turning around to walk with everyone else.

"I guess it's time to go home hm?" Seungcheol looked down at me with a smile.

"I guess it is." I leaned up to kiss his lips once again.

Maybe I am falling in love with him faster than I thought...

I can't believe it's over! This story was so much fun to write, even though it took me so long lol. Fun fact: this was supposed to be a short story, ideally half of what it is, but it turned out to be longer than excepted.
