"Replacement"

Part 8

Jungkook entered the class and waved at you. You waved back and then he went and sat on his seat. Professor arrived and started the lecture and you got busy in it.

"So, what are your plans for the 15 days holiday?"
Sana asked you, sipping on her cold coffee.

"Nothing special, what about you? And what's the leave about?"
You asked her, sipping on yours.

"I don't know. It's something about the school owner I guess, his father passed away something like that, and yeah me too don't have any special plans"

She said. Thank god we have a holiday for two weeks! I don't have to see jungkook and zara's cheesy shit!

"When will it start?"
You asked her again.

"After three days,"
She said.

"Hmmm".....

Two days have passed and tomorrow is the last day of university. After that you'll have a holiday for two weeks. You rubbed your eyes as you woke up and saw your mom dad, standing there beside your bed.

"Mom dad.."
You asked in your raspy voice.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY Y/N" 

They chirped in happiness and hugged you. Ohh it's my birthday today! I totally forgot! Your heart warmed at their actions. They remembered my birthday!

"Thank you so much mom dad"
You said and broke the hug.

"You both remembered?"
You asked, getting all emotional.

"How can I not remember my princess's birthday?"

Your dad said, caressing your head. You smiled at him.

"Now get ready, I made a seaweed soup for you. I may not have given you the birth but you should pay respect to your mother who gave you birth and brought you into this world. Now get ready, we're waiting downstairs"

Your mom said, patting your head and then they both went from there. You got ready quickly, ate your favourite dishes made for you.

"Thank you for making my favourite dishes mom"

Your mother chuckled at you. You opened your phone and saw many 'happy birthday' messages. But your eyes only searched for one person, jungkook. He still didn't wish me otherwise he always does first but not this year?

"Where's zara?"
You asked her.

"She went early today"
But there's time for the lectures to start!

"I'm going to university, bye mom dad"
You waved and went from there.

"Happiest birthday beautiful"

Sana yelled while jumping on you, hugging you tightly.

"Thank you so much sana"
You said, hugging her back.

"You look so gorgeous today"
She complimented while breaking the hug.

"Thank you and you too"
You said.

"Yaah let's party, it's your birthday today! Let's go to the club"
She yelled, all excited.

"Calm down. First let's attend the class, then we'll see about it"

"Ohh yeah, let's go! "
She said and dragged you to your class.

Few minutes passed, and your friends wished you a happy birthday and you thanked them all. Finally Jungkook entered the class. He smiled at you faintly. You smiled back. But the next moment, he went and sat on his seat without wishing you.

Did he just forgot my birthday? How can he? Your heart ached at this. After all he's your best friend and still he forgot your birthday. Maybe he knows, he will wish me later I guess.

But now it was almost time for everyone to leave. You were waiting for Jungkook outside. Maybe he'll come and wish me?

"So are you inviting me to a party or not?"

Sana asked you, wrapping her arms around your shoulders.

"Is that even a question? Of course not"
You laughed.

"Yah"
She whined like a baby. You chuckled at her.

"I was just joking, you are invited, you have to come and that's it. There's no need for an invitation for you"

You said while side hugging her. She smiled at you.

"Okay then I'll go see you in the evening"
She said and left.

You saw Jungkook coming while holding hands with zara. They both hugged and he pecked her cheeks. You were staring with cold eyes. He then looked at you and waved at you and then they both left!

They just left! Without wishing me? Tear rolled down your eyes. You wiped it harshly.

"I don't deserve him. He's not worth calling my best friend"

You scoffed and went towards your mansion.
