"Replacement"

Part 13

"Mom dad, I'm back"
You yelled, rushing to them, engulfing them in a tight hug.

"Did you enjoy it?"
Your dad asked, after chuckling at your baby-like behaviour.

"Yes a lot! Thank you so much for the gift again. I enjoyed alot but missed you both too"

You said, pouting. They both giggled. Zara was glaring at you three, without any interest. You also didn't bother to talk to her.

"I bought many gifts for you"
You exclaimed, remembering it. They smiled at you.

"First go and take a bath, eat something then rest and then show us what you bought okay" 

Your mom said. You nodded like an obedient child and did as she said after placing your luggage in your room.

Like that, the day went, you ranting about what happened and how you enjoyed, in Paris to your parents. They listened to you, but one person did not. Right, Zara, who else! She didn't speak to you, so did you too. Now there was still one week left for the holidays to end.

Next day, you and Zara, both were alone at home as your parents went to work. You were scrolling your laptop while sitting on the sofa in the living room. Zara was doing something in her room. Doorbell rang making a sound, you waited for Zara to open it but then you remembered she's in her room.

You lazily got up and went to open the door, but the person who was in front was the least you could expect. Jungkook! He was shocked to see you, but soon a small smile formed on his lips. Your cold eyes softened a bit, but you again made your stare of ice, cold.

"H-hey y/n, "

He said, nervous of what you will say next, but his heart broke after hearing your cold reply.

"Your girlfriend is upstairs"

You said and went to the sofa again, sitting and scrolling the laptop again. He sighed in guilt, closed the door and came near you.

"Are you still upset? I'm really sorry-" 

"I don't want to talk"

You cut him off, without letting him talk. He went silent for the moment, realising that you still didn't forgive him.

"Ohh hi kook-"

Zara said while coming down stairs but halted when she saw you with him. You ignored them both and kept doing your work.

"What are you doing with her?"
She asked him. He kept silent but soon a sigh left his mouth.

"She's still mad at me,"

He said. You scoffed internally after hearing his words. Zara rolled her eyes.

"Stop hurting him y/n! Why are you overreacting huh? You are acting like he did a big sin. Stop snatching away my happiness from me. For god's sake please let me live peacefully at least with my boyfriend! I can't see him being hurt. And kook, stop apologising to her, she doesn't deserve it!"

Zara yelled at you. Jungkook's eyes widened after hearing her. You were not shocked at all because you knew her but disappointment and anger boiled inside you. How dare she talk to me like that!

"Zara-"
You cut off Jungkook and stood up.

"How dare you talk to me like that!"
You yelled at her. She just rolled her eyes.

"Am I overreacting? Am I hurting him? Then what the hell you both did huh! Didn't he hurt me before? Can't you see that or are you fucking blind!"
You yelled. She became furious.

"How dare-"

"Ohh shut up!"
You yelled at her again.

"What did you say, I'm snatching your happiness? Or you are snatching away my happiness! He deserved it for hurting me and his pain is nothing compared to mine. Aren't you the one because of whom all this is happening? And you have the audacity to accuse me! I'm not coming between you both, I'm staying away from you both but he's the one who's coming to me back after hurting me so much. Enough is enough. I'm not saying anything to you doesn't mean you can say anything to me. Still remember I'm your big sister"

You yelled at her with pure anger which was building inside you from many days!

"Before your boyfriend, he was my best friend. You are the one who snatched him from me, remember that! You are saying that you can't see him being hurt, you think I enjoy hurting him huh! It hurts me more seeing him being hurt than you. It has just been a few months since you met him, but I was with him for many years. He was my best friend! Heck, I liked him more than you! But he wants you so I backed off, otherwise I know how to ruin others! So stay back and dare to mess with me. I'll show you how being hurt feels"

You yelled your heart out. His eyes widened hearing that you liked him before. Zara was beyond shock hearing you. You went to your room, shutting the door with a loud thud! A tear escaped his eye. He fell on the sofa. He gulped down the lump in his throat.

"S-she l-likes me?"

He said. Zara looked at him. She sat beside him. Fear of him liking you back was eating her up.

"Do you like her t-too?"

She asked, hoping it would be no. He didn't said anything as more tears fell down from his eyes.

"Kook?"

She called him. He didn't respond, but went away from there. She was left confused.

"Does he like her too? No he only loves me"

She said. She was angry but didn't dare to fight with you because of your last outburst.
