"Replacement"

Part 20

All the lectures were finished and it was time to go home.

"Should I stay with you?"

Taehyung asked. Sana already went with Jimin as they had a date. You shook your head.

"No, I'm fine, you don't have to worry."
You said. He opened his mouth again but you already shut it by saying.

"Now don't be stubborn and go. I have to go. See you later bye"

You quickly gave him a short hug and ran from there to the detention room. He chuckled to himself 'cute' he said and went from there. You opened the door and saw one boy already sitting there.

It was jungkook. 'Shit! I forgot he got detention too'. You closed the door and sat on the middle bench, near the window. You felt someone sat beside you. You looked at him and he smiled at you.

"Hii y/n. How have you been?"

He asked. It's been months since you talked to him. You got a mixed feeling after hearing him talking to you. 'If someone is talking with you nicely then why not talk with them?' You thought and decided to talk.

"Fine. What about you?"
You asked, smiling slightly.

"Not that good too."
He said, his smile slowly fading. There was an awkward silence. He decided to break it.

"How did you come late today?"
You looked at him before replying.

"I got up late and got my periods too"
You said. He nodded and opened his bag.

"Here,"
He said. You looked down, there was a big Cadbury. You looked at him.

"Take it I know you like it"
He said and kept the chocolate in your hand.

"Thank you"
You said and opened it. You shared it with him and you both ate the chocolate.

"What about you? How did you become late?"
You asked, taking a bite.

"I went to drop Zara off at her friend's house. She didn't come to university today. That's why I got late, " 

He said. You just nodded and became silent. He understood the silence so he decided to change the topic.

"That ms. Kang always kicks students out!" He said.

"Yes, bitch! What does she think of herself? 'If you want to come then come before Time otherwise no need to come' bloody bitch"

You mimicked her with high pitched toned. He laughed at you.

"Yes, just like that,"
He said laughing. Seeing him laugh, you also burst into laughter.

"Remember one time she embarrassed you in front of the whole class. Your reaction was so funny!"
He said and laughed harder. You mocked his head.

"That was because of you, you dumbass"
You said, making an angry look. He slapped you slightly on the arm.

"It was not because of me"

"You-"
You both started to fight with bags! You know, bag fight!

"Stop you both! It was your detention, not a hangout session!"
Teacher yelled, coming into the class. You both stopped.

"You both can never get better. Now go back to home. detention is over!"
She yelled and went from there.

"We we we we we we we we weeeeee"

You mimicked her and both burst into laughter. Your laughing session came to an end. And now both were silent. You looked over him.

"So, friends again?"
He asked, extending his hand. You thought for a while and then forwarded the hand and shook hands with him.

"Thank you y/n"
He said. You smiled at him. You suddenly got a call.

"Hello….yes it's over… I'm fine…. I'll call you later… bye"
You said and ended the call. He raised his eyebrows, asking who was it?

"It was taehyung, he called to ask If the detention is over or not. Okay I'll go now bye"
You said and got up.

"Bye"
He said, with a small smile.

After two days.

You were talking with jungkook. Not much but yeah normal. Obviously not in front of Zara because you didn't want any drama. You told your friends that you are talking with him, but just normally.

"Bro, you will regret later! She started talking to him again. Confess to her before she again catch feelings for him!"
Jimin encouraged taehyung, but he was not listening.

"But what if she still has those feelings for him? And what if she breaks the friendship too? I can't afford to lose her jimin. She's so precious to me"
He said. Jimin sighed.

"Look bro, didn't you encourage me while I was being all nervous to confess to Sana? I also thought like what you are thinking but look, we are happy couples now. Now don't overreact. Just go and confess. Otherwise see her getting married to jungkook"
He said. Taehyung gave him a death glare.

"Don't you dare to say those words again, " He said, scaring the shit out of him.

"Hehe I was just joking. Now go I don't want to listen to anything"
He said and dragged him with him and drove off to the same place, where you both met First.

"Why are we here?"
You asked sana.

"Someone is coming to meet you. Now bye I'm going I have a date"
She said and quickly went from there.

"Who the hell is coming to meet me?"
You asked yourself and sat on the bench.

"Now go all the best, "
Jimin pushed taehyung without letting him speak. He looked back at them and went towards you.

"Y/n" 
He softly called for you. You got up.

"Hey! You, here, how?"
You asked. He didn't say anything but bent down. You looked at him confused.

"Y/n, I want to say that….. I love you so much y/n, I love you more than you can ever imagine. I already fell for you in Paris when I first saw you. But that was a short meeting and I thought we would never see each other again but look, destiny brought us together. You make me go crazy for you y/n. I had many girls drooling over me but you are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. Beautiful from both in and out. I thank god daily for sending an angel in my life like you. You mean alot to me. I can't afford to lose you y/n, you mean the world to me. I have never seen anything as beautiful as you. No one else could ever make me feel complete and put a smile on my face every single day as you do. My heart is full of love for you. You make me happier than I ever imagined. There is nothing better than you in the world and I love you more than you will ever know. We had been good friends. But I want a relationship with you which is more than just a friendship. So y/n, will you be my girlfriend and make me the happiest person alive?"

He asked with the pure love in his eyes for you. He was hoping for a lot from you. Tears pooled up in your eyes after hearing his words. They were as pure as his feelings for you. There was a hope in his eyes that you would say yes, but he was scared that you would reject him. And it happened which he didn't want to happen.

"I'm sorry taehyung but I can't accept your proposal"
You said and something broke. Oh it was his heart!
