Rasazy P.O.V.

Rasazy waved after Miss Grace as she stepped into her first class at Paper School. While it seemed a bit pointless, she was eager to make a good impression on her new classmates and teachers. Her eyes wandered across the room, but something stood out immediately, capturing her full attention.

At the front of the classroom stood a woman unlike any Rasazy had ever encountered. She was towering, easily as tall as her canon father, Ruv, when standing straight, if not taller. Her hair was large and spiky, and there was something about her presence that demanded attention. But what shocked Rasazy the most was the massive compass attached to the woman's left arm. It was a literal compass, not just a prosthetic—it looked like a tool for drawing circles, large enough to dwarf some of the students she had passed by earlier.

Rasazy's mind spun, trying to comprehend this oddity. Why would anyone have such a strange prosthetic? Even in the vast multiverse, this seemed... unique. But she shrugged internally. After all, who was she to judge the strange when her own life had been far from ordinary?

As she surveyed the room further, Rasazy noticed the curious gazes of her classmates. They were eyeing her with the same intrigue she felt toward them. One girl, whose head was literally a soap bubble, floated serenely in her seat. There were also students with doodles in their hair, and one boy cowered at his desk, his eyes darting nervously toward the teacher. Their whispers and mutterings blended into the background, but Rasazy could tell they were as intrigued by her as she was by them.

Summoning her courage, Rasazy stepped forward, her eyes on the tall woman with the compass arm. "Excuse me, am I late?" she asked politely.

The woman turned, her voice smooth yet laced with something unsettling. "You are not quite late for class, dear. I assume you must be Rasazy, correct?"

Relieved that she wasn't in trouble on her first day, Rasazy nodded and replied, "Indeed, my name is Rasazy. And you are, Miss...?"

The woman grinned, her smile sharp like a Cheshire cat. "You may call me Miss Circle. I am your math teacher for today. I trust you won't disappoint me." Her tone on those last words was far from reassuring, but Rasazy, unfazed, shrugged it off. Maybe Miss Circle just has her own strange way of expressing herself.

"I won't disappoint you, Miss Circle," Rasazy said with confidence.

"Good," Miss Circle replied instantly, her gaze now fixed on the rest of the class. "Now, if you may, Student Rasazy, introduce yourself to your classmates."

Rasazy turned toward the classroom, all eyes on her. She felt no nervousness, just calm acceptance of their attention. "Greetings to you all," she said simply. "My name is Rasazy."

A few students waved and responded, "Hello, Rasazy," while others remained quiet, their eyes still sizing her up. At the back of the room, one student squinted at her from a circular table where two others sat—the soap-bubble girl and another boy with what looked like feathers in his hair. She couldn't tell if the squint was suspicion or curiosity, but she didn't dwell on it.

Miss Circle's voice came from behind her. "Now, student Rasazy, you may take one of the empty seats. And class," she added, her voice growing stern, "prepare yourselves for a surprise quiz. I suggest none of you fail."

Rasazy blinked, slightly surprised by the sudden quiz announcement, but without much fuss, she found a seat near the back. She chose the table with the three interesting occupants she had noticed earlier—the bubble-head girl, the boy with feathers, and one other girl who looked relatively normal. Settling into her seat, Rasazy glanced at her new tablemates, ready for whatever came next.
