One afternoon lord Elrond was busy working, when his twins walked into the room and tugged on his cloak and their father said " my boys what do you need? He asked the twins. Elladan and Elrohir said " can we please play outside Elladan asked his dad as he was holding his four-year-old little brother Elrohir in his arms and little Lindir was in the stroller playing with his rattle.
Elrond looked outside, and it looked like it was going to rain, but he said in a gentle voice " sure you boys and can play together outside, but I need you to be quiet because you're a little sister is taking her nap he said as he looked over at his daughter, who was sleeping on the couch in his office she was holding her favorite toy tightly, and snoring at the same time. " we both promise that we will play quietly father said 10-year-old Elladan as he made his way outside and his daddy said "keep an eye on Lindir please don't let him out of your sight, said his father" later in the afternoon the two boys were playing catch with a ball Elladan tossed the green ball to his four-year-old little brother Elrohir and the four-year-old little boy smiled and said " I caught it here you go big bro catch it said the little elf throwing the ball but his aim wasn't pretty good and he threw the ball into the woods accidentally. At first, he thought his older brother was going to be mad at him, and he began to cry, but Elladan said " shhh my baby brother "it's OK I'll go get it back "do you want to come with me? Said his brother as he took the hand of his little brother and they walked into the woods to find the ball. Once they were in the woods, they looked everywhere for the ball but they couldn't find it but when they eventually found it, they found out they were lost in the woods and it was raining really bad so bad in fact that they couldn't see where they were " oh on how are we gonna get out of here now?" and later in the afternoon, their father went outside and saw his baby boy. Lindir alone outside in the stroller and he ran outside and grabbed the little elf and he said " baby what are you doing out here and what are your brothers?" Elrond said as he grabbed a towel from his pocket that he had and he wrapped it around his baby to keep him dry. Then he looked around the yard and he couldn't find his twins so he called out their names " Elladan and Elrohir"!!! he continued calling their names, but there were no answer and Elrond was starting to get worried because the sun was going down but at the same time it was raining really hard and he decided to take Lindir because he was shivering and he was starting to sneeze and he did not want his baby to get sick. He close the door, and he looked up at the sky and said " I hope wherever they are they are OK my boys" Elrond said closing the door for the night back inside the house Arwen was coloring in her coloring book when she noticed that her daddy looked upset, and she walked up to him and " Ada what's wrong are you ok" Arwen said to Elrond as he was giving Lindir a bath Elrond turned around and saw his little girl who was only about maybe five years old at the time and she said "Papa look i drew a picture for you" Elrond took the picture in his hands and he said this is very nice baby. I liked the picture he said, in a sad tone and his daughter responded with what is the matter daddy . Arwen said very worried about her Dad and her papa responded "Elladan and Elrohir are both missing and I'm very concerned" Elrond said as he made dinner that evening and then after dinner his daughter "said, can I go look for them" she said, trying to get to the door, but her father stopped her and said " no way I don't need three lost children" Elrond said lifting his daughter into his arms, and she looked out the window and said " Elladan and Elrohir please come home she said as little tears went down her face her daddy noticed, and said " shhh my sweet little star please don't cry I know they will be back we will just have to keep faith but for now why don't you wait upstairs so I can give you a bath later did you like dinner said her father as he was still feeding baby Lindir his dinner. After dinner Elrond was giving his daughter a bath and he said " my muffin after I'm done giving you a bath can you please check on your baby brother and make sure that he has his blanket" said Elrond as he washed his baby girl. Later around 8 o'clock. Arwen went to check on little Lindir and he had his Blankey and he was fast asleep, sucking on his thumb and he looked up at his sister and smiled and went back to sleep. But around 9 o'clock. She woke up to the sound of crying at first she thought it was her baby brother, but he was asleep so she went to check on her father and she saw him crying and she said " Ada please don't cry she said running to her father, her daddy noticed, and said " oh my little one I'm sorry I didn't mean to wake you up I'm just really worried about your brothers I can't sleep with knowing they lost. And back in the woods. The twins were completely lost, and they were completely soaked and little Elrohir was crying and he wouldn't stop because he missed his father. He looked up at his brother who was carrying him still " big brother I miss Ada said his younger brother, who was only four years old Elladan just continued to rub his back until finally they came into a clearing, but they were not in Rivendell anymore but they were in Mirkwood. And they walked through the woods until finally they found themselves face-to-face with King Thranduil and his 2 year old son and he said "Elladan and Elrohir what are you two doing here? He said concerned. As Legolas played with his father's hair and Then the king said " where is your father? Is he with you or are you too by yourselves? " we got lost in the woods and we couldn't find our way home and we ended up here. Said Elladan as tears went down his cheeks. And Thranduil said " don't worry you can stay with me for a bit. I will call the guards to tell them that you're here and we will find your father so you can both get home. The king said taking the twins to his palace. Once they got to the Castle he said, why don't you and your brother get washed up while I make food for you guys what would you guys like to eat" asked Thranduil as Elladan gave his baby brother Elrohir a bath and after he got him clean, and into some clean clothes, he put on a couch that was in the living room and it's a little elf took a long nap. Later that night. Elladan and Elrohir ate dinner together while Thranduil gave Legolas his baby food and at night, he called the guards and he said my guards I need you to go to Rivendell and tell Elrond I found his sons.and I later in the night around 12 o'clock Elrond was pacing the floor back-and-forth until he heard a knock on the door. He ran to the door and said. " my boys are back, but when he opened the door, he saw guards and he got worried and he said " are my sons hurt are they OK?" " sir Elrond please calm down we have good news we are guards of king thranduil and he's the one who found your sons. One of the guards said and lord Elrond said " my sons are in Mirkwood" Elrond said in relief with concern. His daughter woke up and said "what's going on." when she saw the guards she tried to look behind them and she didn't see her brothers. " Ada where are my brothers she said crying I "miss them" Arwen said crying and her dad turned around and said " Arwen shh my little girl I have good news they found your brothers they are at Mirkwood and they are safe with King Thranduil said as he comforts his daughter as she cried so much and Elrond just moved his hand up and down on her back, and he said " shh my sweetheart Remember, your baby brother is asleep. Later in the morning in Northern Mirkwood Thranduil was playing with his baby boy Legolas " open up here , the airplane zoom" as the twins eat their breakfast they noticed the little elf and they said "king thranduil your son is so cute" Elrohir said as he helped the king feed the baby elf. Then the four year-old little boy looked at a picture of his father that he had in his little book bag, and he said " I miss my Ada so much said little Elrohir as he held the framed photo of his father, close to his little heart. ❤️ when Elladan noticed his baby brother upset his 10-year-old brother picked him up and said we're going home soon my little bro and you will see father soon I promise but then the photo dropped but I didn't break and his older brother picked it up and said here why don't we put it in your book bag and we can keep it safe. Later at night time Elrond was preparing dinner when all of a sudden he heard a knock at the door his two children ran to him in the kitchen, and they said " Ada someone's at the door Arwen said as she carried Lindir in her arms. Elrond ran to the door , and when he opened it. He saw the guards and he said "any news on my babies. Are they OK?" Elrond said and he was about to close the door and he was about to lose hope when all of a sudden he heard familiar voices. He looked behind the guards and he saw his boys running towards him and jumping into his arms . " oh Elladan and Elrohir I thought I lost you both you Please don't ever scare me like that. Come inside. You both must shivering. Elrond said as carried his boys inside the house. Back inside the house he hugged his boys tight. And he cried as he held them " oh my little boys please don't you ever and I mean ever runoff into the woods like that and get lost to the point where I'm crying and losing hope that I will ever see you again he said running his fingers through hair and he said " I'm not mad at you both but I don't want you running into the woods by yourselves. If there's ever a danger going on, you have to tell me first" Elrond said as he hugs his sons and then both twins started to cry and they both said " where sorry daddy" Later around 1 o'clock, their father gave them a warm bath and a very long bath after he got them clean he gave them hot warm soup and got them dressed and warm PJs and took them and sat by the fireplace with them in his arms and continued to hold them tightly not wanting to let them go, and he begins, sing them a lullaby, " Baby mine, don't you cry

Elrond sang for a long time and when their sister saw them, she hugged her brothers so tight that they ended up falling off the couch together, and their father said " you OK and the three siblings hugged each other tightly and they said we're OK daddy" Elrond said all right my babies go all to bed I think we had enough adventure for one day and when the little Lindir woke up and saw his brothers, he jumped up and down in his crib, and he jumped out of the crib and ran to them and hugged them and his father put him back in the crib and he "said you're too little to be up all night go to sleep my little one."
And the very next morning Elrond and his kids enjoyed a nice day inside their palace, knowing the whole entire family was together again and enjoying each other company. And little Elrohir ran to his father, and he said I missed you, daddy and his father said I missed you too my dear little Elrohir Elrond said as he hugged all his children tightly and said none of you get lost and give me a broken heart please. He said snuggling with all his kids on the couch that cold rainy night and he gave them hot chocolate to drink, and baby Lindir drank warm, chocolate milk in his bottle since he couldn't have hot chocolate yet. He smiled and said. " yummy milky he said, and for the rest of the day the children spent the day with their father.
