One Afternoon 4 year old Arwen was playing with her favorite dolly that she had since she was three and she was having fun playing with the toy when all of a sudden it got stuck under the couch and she pulled on the toy, but then it ripped. " oh on my toy is broken she said, but when she heard her father walking into the room, she hid the toy underneath her blanket because she ran into her room to hide it when Elrond noticed what his little girl was doing he said " sweetheart what are you doing? What are you hiding under your blanket? Elrond said as he tried to look under the blanket but Arwen said " nothing at all Ada I promise you" she said but then her father remembered that he needed to go to the store for some things and he said "my little precious angel. Do you want to come with me to the store?" Elrond said as he smiled at his little girl. "Yes Ada OK put on your shoes and I will check on you later. OK and make sure to wear your jacket out there. It's cold. I'll be right back." Elrond said, leaving the bedroom and then while his little girl was putting on her shoes, she thought to herself " maybe Ada can buy me a new toy Arwen said as she put on her jacket and mittens. " Arwen sweetie are ready to go to the store said her Ada as he called her from down the hall. " coming father. Once in the Rivendell shop Elrond grabbed a shopping cart and puts his little girl in the cart 🛒 as they shopped at the store Arwen kept putting things in cart as her father read the list for the shopping he noticed that Arwen was grabbing everything she saw in the cart. " sweetie please don't do that" after a while little Arwen found a way out of the cart and found the Toy section and she said " Ada i what a toy please Arwen said as her father was looking at the shopping list. " no sweetie not today I don't have enough money for toys today" Elrond said as he grabbed Arwen's hand and he said " come on sweetie we have to buy milk and eggs 🥚 but little Arwen didn't what to listen to her father and said " no Ada I don't what to Arwen said leting go of his hand and running back to the Toy Section and she grabbed the toy she wanted and she said " please daddy I want this dolly look how cute she looks. She said it showing the toy to her father and he looked at the prices said "darling no is way too expensive" "And anyway you have a dolly at home that I made you" but his little baby princess didn't want listen to her daddy and he threw her herself on the floor and she began to have a tantrum Temper. " I what a toy"!!!!now!!! She said crying and continuing to make a scene in the store and her father got mad and he said " Arwen please don't do this to me. You're embarrassing me. I told you no and I mean it" Elrond said trying to lift his little girl off the floor, but she didn't want to move and he said " Arwen Undomiel"!!! " get "up from the floor right now" Elrond said as he lifted his daughter from the ground and began to walk to the cheek out to pay for the food. On the way home Elrond was really Irritated with his daughter's behavior so he didn't even talked to her and when they got home Elrond was still pretty angry at his daughter, and he yelled at her and "said go to your room" and little Arwen was surprised that her daddy was still mad at her because he never stayed mad with her because she thought that she was his little princess forever, but she ran upstairs with tears in her eyes and cried into her pillow in the hallway Lindir heard the crying coming from Arwen's room and he entered the room and he said "my little princess what's wrong?" Said Lindir as he sat next to little Arwen then he said "i know what happened. Your father told me" he said "he told me that you had a temper tantrum today at the store. Is that true?" Lindir said as he tried to comfort the little girl and she said " yes Lindir I did have a temper tantrum and the reason why it because my daddy said no he's not supposed to say no he's supposed to say yes because I'm a little princess he doesn't love me anymore" little princess Arwen said crying and saying I don't like my daddy anymore she said hiding under a blanket then Lindir found her broken toy under the bed and he said "why is your dolly broken?" "Oh it broke by accident and got stuck in the couch and I pulled it out and that's how it broke. I want a new one, but my daddy won't buy it for me." Continuing to cry. And then Lindir found a sewing needle and sewed the toy back together and he "said here you go my precious princess you don't have to buy everything new if something breaks if there's a way to fix it we fix it, but if we can't fix it, then we buy something new" "because you can't be greedy that's not being a princess. If you're greedy then that means you're rude and you don't want to be rude do you you're a little princess and kind and have a sweet little heart" Lindir said as he explained that being greedy and not a good thing to the little princess and she understood what she did what's wrong, but she was still mad with her father. " Lindir can I ask you something" "of course you can." Lindir said and then the little princess said " dose Ada hate me because I don't think he loves me anymore. He yelled at me and I don't like getting yelled at." Arwen said as more tears came down her cheeks. " my little girl your Ada loves you so much more than anything in the world but sometimes he needs to say no because if he says yes that means he's going to spoil you and that's not good. You cannot be spoiled because that means you're spoiled. It means being a brat and you're a good girl right" Lindir said as he continued to comfort Arwen. " well I am a good girl and my daddy loves me, but I guess did hurt his feelings when I had that big temper tantrum I didn't know that he needed to say sometimes, but I still princess?" Arwen said as she wiped away her tears and calmed down and she said I think "I'm going to say sorry to my daddy "because I want to be a good little girl and I want to see him happy" later in the afternoon before dinner Arwen found her father in his bedroom, reading a book, and she walked in and said " Ada can I talk to you?" Her daddy, put the book down and said. " yes of course my little princess what is it? What do you need? He said, putting her on his lap and she looked up at her daddy and cried into his shirt " I'm really sorry Ada for not listening to you today" Arwen said crying so much that Elrond said " shhh my precious girl I forgive you, but you can't do that again do you understand?" Elrond said as he hugged his daughter gently in his arms. " yes i understand Ada I'm really sorry for my behavior today" Arwen said as her dad continued to comfort her and he said " is alright my love I just want you to know that I love you very much and my love for you will never end. You're my precious little princess and you'll always be since you were born. You were my little princess" Elrond said as he tickled his little girl and she said " Ada I'm still your little princess" " of course you are my little princess" and they will never change my little girl "and I don't hate you. Why would you think that because he yelled at me?" " oh yeah I forgot I'm sorry sweetie. It's just sometimes I have to say no to you because I can't always have my way. And later both father and daughter had spaghetti for dinner and at bedtime her daddy read her story and said sweet dreams my little princess I will always love you"
