One evening 2 year old little elfling Lindir woke up crying and Elrond woke up and ran to the nursery. He turned on the light and put the bars down on the crib and picked up the little elfling and rubbed his back gently and siad " don't cry my little baby boy" "I know maybe you need a diaper change. Let's change your diaper." And then his Ada puts him on the changing table but then he noticed that the diaper was dry and he didn't need to be changed a while he was taking off the onesie. He noticed spots all over his baby boy. " oh my Lord my baby boy I think you have the chickenpox" Elrond says held his baby in his arms. All the crying woke up Elladan and Elrohir when they heard the crying of their little brother, they entered the nursery and they said " Ada what's the matter with Lindir" the two 10-year-olds twins asked their father as he walked back-and-forth holding the sick little baby and he said " Lindir has the chickenpox and I don't know what to do. I never experienced chickenpox. Well I mean when I was a kid I had them, but I took care of a baby with chickenpox. What if I mess up what if I make it worse" Elrond said as he started to get worried, but then his twins said "we will take care of him, father" " I don't know boys taking care of a baby is a big responsibility and it's a lot of work. Are you sure you can do it?" Elrond said as he Looked through the medicine cabinet for baby medicine and he gave it to his son and said this will help with his little cough" Elladan and Elrohir looked up at their father, and they said " yes Ada we can take care of our little brother, please and then I don'tyou have that meeting in the morning" Elladan said as he carried his baby brother in his arms. Throughout the night, the twins made sure that little Lindir drinks a lot of water and made sure he wasn't scratching his chickenpox " no Lindir don't scratch the spots Said Elrohir as he grabs Lindir's little hand but the little toddler thought they were playing and he pulled Elrohir's hair so hard. Elladan laughed so hard and he "said you got stuck babysitting" Said Elladan as he puts Calamine lotion on the two-year-old little elfling both of the twins stayed up all night looking after their brother, and they both fell asleep in the rocking chair with Lindir in their arms. But the very next morning, their father left. The palace because he was in a rush to get to the meeting and he dropped off his daughter. At Legolas's and Thranduil's palace for a play date to play with the little prince and he said behave my little girl I'll pick you up later and make at Rivendell Elladan and Elrohir woke up to find themselves alone home alone together at the palace with a sick little baby elfling in the morning at breakfast Elrohir was making breakfast for his baby brother and his brother Elladan when the food was ready Elladan what's the first to start eating his food but when it was time to feed baby Lindir he refused to eat at all and Elladan said " come on baby boy you have to eat your food so I can give you your medicine but the baby just threw his food all over his brother and his brother said " Lindir please don't do that. Said Elrohir as he took the baby food jar from his brother and began to feed the baby and he said " oh, here comes the airplane open for the tunnel good boy" says Elrohir as he fed the baby his food and then both twins gave Lindir his medication after a long morning Lindir was napping in his crib and the twins took a break and they said " Ada was right babysitting is hard work they both said laying down for 10 minutes, but then their break was interrupted by a baby cry they didn't know what to do. They remembered that. Maybe he was itchy because the chickenpox were hurting him so they took out the lotion and they both. Started to put. Lotion on the baby to help him with the itch. Later in the afternoon at bathtime. Elrohir and Elladan both gave baby Lindir a bath and changed his diaper and at dinner time Elladan made hot chicken soup, but not too hot and not too cold for his baby brother. He fed the soup to his little brother. He said "you're such a good little boy." and then his little brother surprised him with his second word " Elladan me love you said baby Lindir as he hugs his older brother gently And later at night time when his father finally got home he found his three little boys, fast asleep on the couch when the twins woke up Their father said "I'm very proud of you." my boys did you eat dinner?" he said his son responded with yes Ada we did "and we have good news" the nurse came over today and she said that Lindir doesn't have chickenpox anymore" the twins said, holding up their little brother and their father "said I'm very proud of you my sweet boys you took care of my little boy. I'm so proud." But then their dad said. " boys did you guys take a bath because you guys stink? And the twins said. " not really because we were so busy taking care of our brother. They said as Elrond was changing the baby's diaper alright but now that I'm here I can take over so I want you 2 get into the bath and the twins first didn't want to take a bath, but then they remembered that they should listen to their father and they went to the bathroom to take a shower after bathtime Arwen finally came home from her play date with Legolas and she said " Ada I missed you. She said running through the door and her daddy hugged her and said I missed you too, baby. Did you have fun?" Daddy I drew you a picture." After a long bath Elrond helped his twins get in their pjs and he put them right to bed and he said "good night my sweet children. I love you." And he was happy that little. Lindir was all better when he was going to check on Arwen she saw her holding up a book and he said do you want me to read to you before bed?" " yes please Ada may you please read this book to me said the little princess and her daddy smiled and said of course I will and then he read the book all night long until she fell asleep and left the room said good night all my little children. I love you all equally he went to bed himself, and he was happy to have mature boys to help him take care of his young children
