One evening in Rivendell 2 year old little Lindir was trying to sleep in his little crib, but he couldn't. He kept waking up because he heard scary noises and he was crying because he was really scared. " dada he said with tears in his eyes and when Elrond herd his little baby call his name he walked into the nursery and said " my little Lindir what is that matter" he said as the baby elfling cried in his arms and he wouldn't stop because he was so scared of the dark he kept looking around, and he kept looking as scary shadows, and he thought that the shadows were coming after him and he said " dada me see monster and I am scared" he said crying even more than Elrond Said " shhh my baby boy is just the wind nothing what is scare you, baby and nothing gonna come after you I promise, but before he could put the baby back in the crib all his children came running and jumped into his arms and he said " boys and Arwen why are you all up? What's wrong and then Elladan his five-year-old son who is the same age as his brother they were both five years old and their sister was 3 years old and his oldest son said " Ada I know why Lindir is crying. He's really scared and I'm really scared. We're both really scared and our sister is too. You woke me up from my dream. She said but before Elladan could say anything, they heard a really scary noise and their father looked out the window and he said " there are Orcs outside of my palace what are we going to do? Don't worry children daddy is here. I'll protect you all. Stay here. I'm gonna go fight it don't move" when Elrond was about to go outside his daughter pulled on his robe and said " no Ada don't you will get hurt she said crying and Elladan grabbed her and scooped her up and said don't worry, baby sister our daddy is very strong and he will fight the giant monster so we can all sleep in peace OK" Elrohir said giving his baby sister a hug to finally calm her down. But when their father left and left them alone in the nursery with two babies, both of the boys started to have a panic attack. " Elladan what is wrong said Arwen holding her favorite dolly in her hands as she saw her big brother cry and covering his ears and screaming " shhh Elladan is ok please stop screaming you might wake up baby Lindir said elrohir helping his brother calm down even though he was scared to he wasn't that scared, but he knew deep down. His brother was terrified. " shhh brother Ada will be ok I promise you that nothing is going to happen to him he said as Elrohir looked out the window and he said " what if daddy is hurt I have to go save him. He said, running out the door. " Elrohir no is to dangerous come back here he said, but it was too late. His brother ran out the palace door and into the woods, and the little boy ran all the way until he found his father fighting the monster, and he said. " hi Ada do you want some help when Elrond turned around he said elrohir what are you doing here you're supposed to be back at the palace with your brother and sister and baby Lindir he said trying to fight the giant beast that was also hurting him in the process. But when the Orc spotted the elfling he started running towards him and elrohir got so scared he froze and fear, but when the monster was about to strike the little elfling his father got in front of him and he took the hit for his son and said " don't touch my son Elrond said as the monster left. When elrohir noticed he wasn't hurt. He then saw his father bleeding and he said " no Ada please don't do this to me please don't go somewhere I can't follow siad crying on Elrond's chest and his father woke up and said " shh my baby boy daddy is not going anywhere and he stood up and his son helped me get home when he finally arrived back at the palace that wasn't too far from the woods his daughter saw that he was hurt and she said " oh on Ada are you alright"? Said Arwen looking at the cut on her father's Arm and Elrond said " shhh my baby girl daddy will be ok" but the children didn't want to leave their father's side and they just stayed with him until the healer came to their palace and the nurse said " well hello little ones what seems to be the problem" she said and Elladan being the oldest one he said, our Ada got attacked by Orcs he said as Arwen was still a little upset, and she was still crying and she "said please fix my daddy. I love him". The nurse smiled at the children and at baby Lindir who was drinking his bottle in his crib and when she found Elrond in his room and he was in pain, he said are my children OK?" The doctor said " yes my lord your kids are going to be fine well except for one" " your son Elrohir he broke out of the fear of staying frozen and fear. He accidentally slipped on something and he tripped over a rock and he broke his arm, but he's OK but he's really worried about you so here he is when Elrohir saw his dad and that he was OK his father said " oh my boy I'm just glad that you're OK, but please don't ever run into danger like that I don't want you to get hurt" "but you were hurt. I was worried" " my son listen to me. I'm an adult and I'm fine. I just have a broken arm, but you're just a child. You could've gotten seriously hurt. I don't want to lose you. Want to tolose you either. Said the elfling hugging his dad gently and his Ada held his youngest twin in his arms and said "for a little boy, you're so brave you know" to tell you the truth I was a little scared" when Iwas fighting that monster" Elrond said, remembering the memory of his childhood where his father was fighting, and he was holding his brother Elros in his arms as they saw their father die, but then the memory faded, and he looks back at elrohir who was looking at him with a confused look and he said "Ada what's the matter? Why are you crying? Are you in pain? The elfling said and his dad said " oh is nothing my son I just don't wanna talk about it. I think you're too young to understand. He said when they got home the rest of the day the children took care of their dad until he felt better and the very next day after a couple days of resting the family had a picnic underneath a tree and Elrond was just happy to have his family together but deep down inside he was a little sad because he remembered the memory of his brother Elros who protected him from an orc Attack when he was only three years old and he remembered that memory and he looked up at the sky and he said " oh my brother if you were here with me right now, you could see your nephews they look exactly like you both of them and you could see your niece. She looks a little bit like you too
