The Twins are both 2 years old in the story and little Arwen is 3 years old
One evening in Rivendell Elrond and his wife Celebrian where about to go out when his wife realized and she said " honey we need someone to look after the kids she said as Elrond was caring his two sons and his daughter at the same time. In his arms. " well why don't you ask your father to look after them? Elrond siad as he puts three little elf's into a playpen and then he found Celeborn in the garden, he said " excuse me Celeborn can you do me a favor said Elrond said " sure Elrond what is it what do you need he says as he was picking some flowers and putting them in a vase. " well my wife and I are going out and we need someone to watch the twins and our daughter Arwen said Elrond as his daughter ran to him and she said " no Ada you can't go you can't leave me siad Arwen as she cried and then her mother turned around " sweet baby girl" mother and father will be back home soon and your grandfather is going to stay with you and your brothers and I need you to be a good little girl and look after your brothers and behave for your grandfather can you do that?" Her mother said " yes mommy I will be a good girl said Arwen as her father and mother gave her a hug and they left and they said " Elladan and Elrohir you both behave and no causing trouble for your grandfather said Elrond.
Later in the afternoon Celeborn was feeding the twins " please don't throw your food at me he said as little Elladan tossed his spoon at his grandfather and then Elrohir tossed his food in the air and it landed on the kitchen. " my little ones please don't make a mess he says as he mopped the floor and cleaned up the twins with a Napkin and then little Arwen walked in the kitchen and said " what happened here she said as she helped her grandpa clean up the kitchen and then she said " grandpa I'm hungry she said as she as her grand father lifted her up, into his arms and he said " what do you want to eat sweetie he said with a smile and then Arwen said " can I please have mushroom soup she said as her twin brothers played with thier toys " sure sweetie I will make the soup for you. " and grandpa I was wondering, can I help you make it? Arwen said trying to touch the boiling water but before anything could happen her grandfather grabbed her hand and said " no not Touch boiling water sweetheart said Celeborn as he takes little Arwen off the kitchen counter and he said " baby if you touch hot water you can get burnt and they will give you a big boo-boo and you don't want that do you" said her grandfather putting her on the couch and he said why don't you watch TV while I make you your food but his little granddaughter didn't want to watch TV. She wanted to help her grandpa to make the soup. " but I don't want to watch TV. I want to help you with the soup grandpa what can I do she says then her grandfather thought for a bit and said why don't you set the table" then afterwards the table was set for lunch and the soup was ready Arwen help her grandfather feed the twins and then she ate her soup on her own and she said " yummy soup grandpa I love it. Later in the afternoon. Elladan and his brother Elrohir and their little sister were listening to a storybook that their grandfather was reading and little Arwen " said grandpa can you show me the pictures again? She said as her grandpa showed her the pictures but then little Elladan began to cry because he was tired because he didn't have his nap so Celeborn said " hold on my little baby girl i'm just going to put your brothers down for their naps and I will read the book again when I get back he said carrying the twins back to the nursery, I'm putting them in the same crib because they won't sleep separately. They have to sleep together because they have a strong brother relationship. " good night my sweet boys I hope you guys have a nice nap said Celeborn as he wrap a blanket around the babies and he said good night my sweeties I love you" " grandpa are you going to read me my story yet? Said Arwen as she walked into the nursery and her grandfather said in a minute, sweetie I have to make sure your brothers are sleeping because now they woke up he said taking both twin boys out of the crib and trying to calm them down, but then he found out that they both needed a diaper change. " just be patient, my darling I have to change your brothers and then I will spend some time with you, but you have to learn to be patient because I don't have eight arms. I only have two. He said as Arwen was losing her patience, and she was getting impatient because she wanted her story to be read, and she got mad and said " no I what you to read this book to me right now"!!!!! She said yelling of anger, and that made the twins cry and her grandfather said " calm down sweetheart, and why don't you take a nice nap and then I will read you the story I promise" as Arwen left the nursery Celeborn paid attention to the twins and began to change them and when he was done, he put them back in the crib and said good night children have a nice nap. When Arwen saw her grandpa, she said " I'm sorry for my behavior from earlier. Grandpa don't tell my daddy do you promise" she said because she didn't want to get in trouble but her grandpa said I have to tell him honey, but I promise I won't get mad at you too much today as long as you behave anyway let's read that story you wanted As Celeborn read the story he started to get tired and he fell asleep with his granddaughter and his arms and both grandfather and granddaughter fell asleep together. Later in the evening, he gave all three children a bath and gave them dinner and by the time he was done Elrond and Celebrian finally arrived home after a long day of being out, and when they found the boys asleep in their crib and little girl Arwen sleeping in Celeborn's arms and when Arwen found out her parents got home she woke up and ran to her father and said "Ada your home she said hugging her daddy and her.mother said they siad hello darling. Do you have a nice day with your grandfather? Says her mom as she hugs her little girl. " well I did cause some trouble but I said sorry I'm sorry she said, and her father said " is ok sweetheart I forgive you even though I don't know what you did, but I forgive you next morning Elrond was feeding the twins and Celebrian was helping Arwen tie her shoes because she was going to play outside and her mother said you can play outside but be careful. But when Arwen saw her grandpa Celeborn leaving the kingdom to go home she ran up to him and said " no grandpa don't leave stay said Arwen but her grandfather said " I have to go home. I live somewhere else, but I will come and visit soon and maybe I will babysit you guys again but I have to go and anyway you can't leave with your mommy alone he said as he walked home but later at night Arwen woke up her father and her daddy went into her room and he said " my little star
" what is the matter did you have a nightmare said her dad and Arwen said " no Ada I miss my grandpa said Arwen crying and Elrond said " don't cry sweetheart I understand how you feel but we can go visit him sometimes but not tonight. It's too late but maybe tomorrow my darling now go to sleep late OK daddy good night.
