A Familiar Face

I enter tent and see Adam in front of a map of the land. I would have approached him, but I stop as I see three humans stood in front of him. A frown comes to my face, wondering when they arrived and more importantly, curious about what they were here for. I remain still as I listen. Although... Something seemed strange about the trio. One was dressed in grey and black, another was dressed in green and the one in the middle wore a short red dress and black glass heels.

Adam: So, let me get this straight. You could have gone to anyone for help. You could have made a deal with a gang leader, paid off some Huntsmen that had strayed from their... righteous path. But instead... You chose to seek an audience with me.

Red Dress woman: You're the one we need. Your skill. Your ability to lead those beneath you. You're an exceptionally valuable man, Adam. And we've put a lot of thought into-

Adam: Then clearly you're not thinking straight! If you truly understood me, then you'd know coming here was a mistake. The White Fang is not an organisation for hire. We're a force of revolution!

Red Dress woman: I believe our plan will be beneficial for all parties involved. I have... an associate in Vale. He and I are working on a revolution of our own. But we can't do it without your forces. We need-

Adam: What you need, is to leave. You're asking my men to die for your cause. A human cause. That is not an idea I am willing to entertain.

He raises his sheathed sword, but notices me standing at the back. He sighs and lowers his weapon.

Adam: Brother. I was just telling our... "guests" to leave.

I approach Adam and gesture to them, confused. He sighs before informing me what was happening.

Adam: This woman wants us, our forces, to ally with her to create a revolution in Vale. Obviously, you know we're not the most... accepting of humans. Not after what we've been subject to.

I nod slowly, agreeing, but I wanted to know what kind of plan they had in mind. I turn to the trio, but upon laying my eye on the woman in the red dress, I can't help but feel... Captivated by her. And no it wasn't just because she was beautiful. But there was something else about her. Something... familiar. Even my own body knew like she was familiar because I felt a tear run down my face, as if I was... happy to see her?

Adam: My brother is mute so he can't speak

Adam: My brother is mute so he can't speak. But I can tell that for some reason, he wants to know more about your plan.

Red Dress woman: I see. Is that true?

I nod, making her smile a little.

Red Dress woman: I'm glad someone is willing to hear us out. As I was telling Adam, I have an associate in Vale. He's been busy accumulating everything necessary to... let's say "kick-start" a revolution. Money, Dust and weapons. But one thing we're lacking in, is manpower. The White Fang's numbers can certainly give an edge to both our causes.
