Chapter 10: Night of the Aquarium Part 1

Syaoran slams on the breaks in his car. He stares at Sakura and yells back, "WHY DID YOU ASK ME TO STOP?"

Sakura looks at him timidly and replies, "hehe. I"m sorry. I just wanted to go to the park."

He stares at her in disbelief. He could not believe he just stopped the car, so she could go to the park. He didn't know what to say.

Sakura just smiles up at him and opens the door after he parks. "Are you coming?" she asked him.

Syaoran shakes his head and follows her. She brushes off the snow on the swing and asks him to sit in the one she just brushed off as she goes on to the next swing. She looked up at him and asked him, "You can relax Li."

He widens his eyes in confusion. He looked at her and she was just staring at the dark sky.

Sakura says, "We have just met but I can't help that you are always so serious." She starts to swing, and takes a deep breath. She enjoys the freshness of the air and giggles. Syaoran smiles and starts to swing. He had admired that she seemed so carefree.

They swung and laughed a lot. He didn't want to admit it but he hadn't had this much fun in a long time. He didn't remember when he had laughed so much. He relaxed around her and felt like there was nothing that could bother him.

Sakura turns and looks at him and asks, "So, how long are you going to be staying here?"

Syaoran replies, "I'm only here for the week. I go back before Winter break is over."

Sakura nods her head. "Well, I suppose I should head home now."

Syaoran looks at her and says, "Let me walk you home then."

Sakura shakes her head. "I will be fine. You should head home now." She runs off halfway and turns around. She winks at him and waves goodbye to him. Syaoran shakes his head and waves goodbye to her. "Bye, Kinomoto."

Sakura turns around and starts to head home. She walks down the alleyway to her house. She had just entered her house and received a call from Tomoyo.

Sakura answers her phone, "Tomoyo!"

"Sakura, I have to tell you something." Tomoyo said softly.

Sakura was very interested in what Tomoyo was going to say. She was anticipating something serious was going on between Eriol and Tomoyo.

"Sakura, Eriol and I have been talking for a while and he asked me to be his girlfriend." Tomoyo said excitedly.

Sakura had a huge smile on her face as she was so happy for them. "Tomoyo, I'm so happy for you!"

"Sakura, Eriol asked to take me on a date tomorrow. I wanted to go with him but I'm so nervous. I asked if Li and you can join us." Tomoyo said shyly. What Sakura didn't know was Eriol and Tomoyo trying to make plans for them. They have seen the interactions they have with each other. They both agreed there was definitely a spark. They wanted to create some more spark for them. They had observed them playing a snowball fight and laughing. Eriol had not seen a smile on Syaoran's face before. He could tell that Syaoran was really different around Sakura

Sakura thought about what Tomoyo asked. She wanted Tomoyo to be comfortable. She agreed to come. Tomoyo was ecstatic and said she would call Eriol. Sakura felt a little nervous. She actually didn't want to see Syaoran again. Meeting him a few times she felt was already too much. They didn't even like to be around each other. There was just something about him that made her have a stronger reaction than normal.
