Chapter 15 Unexpected Visitor

Syaoran parked his car and walked to his apartment. He laid on the sofa and threw his hand on his forehead. He went over what had happened today. He looks at the plastic bag of candy he had bought. He gets up and walks over to the bag and pulls out the candy. He unwraps the candy and tastes the sweetness of the candy. He felt nostalgic and remembered his memories of his friend.

Flashback

"Li!" a girl came running towards him. He turned around and found his friend coming to run towards him.

"Li, wait for me." she yelled again.

The little girl runs up to him huffing and puffing. She gives him a hug. "Remember this is not the last you will see me." she said with tears in her eyes.

Syaoran gave her a hug back and felt his eyes starting to tear up. He felt so emotional. He was leaving Japan and didn't want to leave her . She was the only friend he had. He brushes off the tears from her eyes.

"Ugly." he said with tears coming from his eyes.

"You are ugly too." she laughs as she sees he is crying. She brushes his tears and takes something out from her backpack. She turns and looks at him and gives him a bag of candy, "When you miss me, have a piece. I hope this could last. It is all of the candy I had."

Syaoran chuckles as he knew it was not much but it meant alot to him.

"Promise me you will come and visit me. Don't forget about me." She said,

"Master Li, we must leave now." Wei said to Syaoran. Syaoran looked back at the girl and hugged her one last time before leaving. He turned back and his heart had broken seeing the little girl crying and waving him goodbye.

Syaoran turns around and runs back to her and says, "I promise I will be back, just you wait for me." He promises with his pinky to the little girl. The girl smiles at him with hope in her eyes. She reached out and kissed him on the cheek.

Syaoran immediately blushed and ran back to get on his flight. The little girl didn't know her actions were very intimate. But it was a promise to wait for him to come back.

Syaoran got on the plane and touched his face. He thought he would feel dirty from the kiss. But he felt very happy and could not wait to see her again. He took a piece of candy and ate it. His sisters asked for a piece and Syaoran said, "No."

His sister pouts and starts to cry. Syaoran kept saying no to anyone who tried to take his candy away. These candies were too precious for him and a gift from her.

End of flashback

Syaoran moves to start to wash up and whistles on his way to the bathroom. While Syaoran was in the bathroom his phone vibrated for a while.

Syaoran emerges from the shower and sees a message of a pending message from Meiling. He was exhausted from the day. He decided to open it tomorrow morning. He thought it must be a message from here to not be late to pick her up.

He went over to blow dry his hair and went to bed.

The next morning he washed up and pulled on his clothes and headed towards the airport. Syaoran forgot about the message Meiling had sent last night. He went to the gate Meiling would be arriving from. He thought about returning home to see if he had any messages from Ying Fa. He was tired from last night. He didn't even open any message from her.

Syaoran sighs. He sees everyone arriving from the flight. He sees Meiling emerge from the flight. He sees her and waves at her. He thought she looked rather angry and ran towards him.
