What is it good for?

Love, love, love,
But what is it good for?
To feel safe and close,
or just to risk ending up - with a shattered heart.

Is love really all you need?
Is love a medicine to some?
Or is it a crippled lucid dream,
or perhaps a real life fairytale.

Is love a key to safety?
Or do people adore, to play pretend,
and make it seem particularly easy,
to try and find.

Is love as it seems in a fairytale?
Or perhaps a danger - one towards your heart.
Is it really true?
Or does it dye you a dearly, gloomy blue?
