CARMEN

I made my way downstairs in my towel, and reached for my hairdryer and make-up bag next to the mirror.

I began drying my hair as quickly as I could...

Becoming so drained and tired of having to wake up so early to get ready and commute to work.

I was so tired of this routine.

I felt helpless, bored, and so exhausted of my life.

After I dried my hair, I quickly started on my skin-prep.

From my hydrating mist, to all my serums, my hyaluronic acid, snail mucin and Vitamin C.

Then my eye gel, eye cream, and thick moisturizer because of how dry the skin on my face was, and if I didn't make sure my skin was properly hydrated, my make-up would crease like crazy, especially my under eyes.

Then I locked it all in with some facial oil and SPF, before starting on my full make-up beat, starting with primer and foundation.

"You really don't need all that, you know," Daniel grinned, walking in from the kitchen to join my side, as he kissed me on the cheek.

"You know I have to do this for work," I muttered, ignoring him, before I quickly put concealer on and then started bronzing my face.

He kissed my cheek, his stubble grazing my skin, before handing me some pieces of buttered toast.

"Come on, eat something. It isn't right you just rushing off to work without having a proper breakfast."
