Boss rubbed his chin thoughtfully.
"I get that," he shrugged his shoulders. "Look, I'm not going to punish you for being late today. You're always on time, and I can forgive you this once. I don't want you to be the laughing stock of the office today, either. And I don't want any of us to balls up these high-profile deals when they have a look at one of the employees using safety pins to button up her damn shirt."
He folded his arms.
"Why don't you have the rest of the day off today? I'll wire a bonus to your bank account straightaway, so that you can buy yourself some new work clothes. I'll have Rashid take care of the meetings you were supposed to attend on your behalf today. I can't have you showing up like this to work again. Be ready to show up on time bright and early on Monday morning. You deserve a weekend off."
