Tao smiled, holding the panda plushie that Kris had won for him close to his heart; so far it's been a dreamy date for the young man.

Kris took him to a street fair near Beijing's ferris wheel and they'd spent the entire evening eating street food and playing games. Truth be told, this was the most fun he'd had his entire his life. Growing up had been rather lonely for the raven-haired male; his parents were busy people and although they took his brother and him on vacations to private beaches and luxurious hotels, places like those proved to be incredibly boring for him.

It wasn't that he was spoilt, it was just that he'd really just wanted to play with his family members instead of going for massages and the like. On the other hand, Kris' teenage years had been pretty normal, his family hadn't always been as wealthy and powerful as it is now, and he had enjoyed the more mundane things in life before his family's rise to fame. They walked along the street holding hands and shyly stealing glances at one another. The other fair-goers couldn't help but admit that the couple looked like they'd just walked out of a fashion magazine. Girls would throw flirty looks at Kris and try to catch his attention but to their dismay, the tall blonde only had eyes for his adorable lover. Men, on the other hand, were ogling the cute but sexy man that remained oblivious to their attention and kept his sweet smiles for his husband.

"Gege, can we go on the ferris wheel?" Tao pleaded excitedly. "Just the place I was planning to go to next," Kris replied, smiling down at the happy grin Tao beamed up at him that was quickly followed by a peck on the cheek. Kris was a bit shocked since Tao didn't normally initiate their skinship but it just made him all the more happy. He was constantly amazed with his husband, one minute Tao was sexy and manly and the next minute he could turn into a kid, innocent and really adorable. They were high above the street now, standing in one of the ferris wheel cabins that had paused at the highest point to give it's passengers a view of the city. Kris had his arms wrapped around the shorter male with Tao's back pressing against his chest, both of them silently taking in the night-view of the city. "Gege?" "Yes, baby?" "Are you happy with me Yifan?" he asked quietly, leaning further into his embrace. "Always... you?" "I've never been happier, but..." "But?"

"I know this is going to sound really silly but sometimes, I'm just so scared that I'll wake up and this would all have just been a beautiful dream." Kris held Tao closer and rested his chin atop the younger's head, looking at their reflections on the glass of the cabin, "Taozi, life is made up of all the moments we have in our lives. Some are happy, some are sad, but you have to remember that without the darkness, how can you know what the light is? Don't ever be afraid of living, if there's one thing you should now that will never change, it's my love for you. No matter what, I'll always be here for you, to love you and keep you safe."

"Yifan-ge," Tao whispered, touched. He turned around in his husband's hold and put his arms around the older's neck, tiptoeing to kiss the tall blonde. Whispering against his lips, Tao said, "I love you too. Always and forever," closing his eyes and smiling, he closed the distance between their lips, breaking apart only when the two of them felt like their lungs were about to burst. They smiled at each other, completely unaware of the attention they were getting from the other passengers.
