On the previous chapter...

I let out a deep breath I didn't know I was holding.

That was intense.

Talking to him felt like trying to spare time as a ticking bom goes off.

"That was something". Divine looks at the ground in shock.
"Stupid fuck". Lyès curses him out.

"Let's just pretend that nothing has happened, it's not like we are going to see him again". I suggest.

We walk downstairs as we sit back down at our table.
My father was already sitting at the table. "Where were you guys?"

"Just looking around". Jacques answers for us. "It is too big I'm here, we almost got lost".

"I saw Mister Mancini walking down the steps a few minutes ago. I presume that you most crossed ways". Father suggested.

I nod my head. "Yes he showed us the way back to the ballroom".

"I see". Father nods his head. "So you already met him, that's good".

I raise my eyebrows up in suspension. "What does that mean?"

"He is going to be your husband". Father states.

"I won't ask you again". I warn some random dude. "Answer me".

He struggles on my grip. I sigh and open the car door. Silvio is riding the car and we are on the high way. I push his head down, close enough to the ground.

Silvio chuckles from the front. "Some things never change".

I ignore him, pull him back up and close the car. "The next time I open the door, it will be the last time you see a highway".

The boy's face is ruined. He is bleeding everywhere. He dared to lay his hands on my warehouse. I know who he is working for but I need him to admit it.

I want to humiliate him.

He groans and cries silently. "I didn't want to do but he threatened me".
I grab him by the collar. "I need a name".

"I don't ha-have one". He stutters. "No one knows what he looks like or what his name is".
"So you are working for someone who's identity you don't know?" I ask.

He nods his head carefully. "I just needed money, fast".

I sit back down normally and nod my head. "I see". I look through the mirror at Silvio and by the look of his face, he already knows what I am thinking. I clear my throat. With a sudden movement I open the door again and push his head back down.

I made sure that his head hit the highway now as I push his full body out of the car. I close the door and straighten my suit.

"What happened to the 'I prefer a fast death now". Silvio imitates me.

I shrug my shoulders. "Some people are asking for it".
