On the previous chapter...

"The girl was hiding more than the boy". Silvio adds. "There must be a reason".

"And there must be a reason why there was fire in their house". Seraphina replies.

"Something is not adding up". Silvio says.

"No it isn't but the girl will tell me that herself". I say. "I will break all the walls that she has build".

Silvio chuckles. "She seems like a normal girl, I don't think that she has a lot of secrets".
"A normal girl wouldn't hide for the world for 6 years". I argument.

"Maybe she went hiding from someone". Seraphina suggest.

"Possible". Silvio replies.

"Is the house done with the constructions?" I change the subject.
"Yes they only need to bring some little things but other then that everything is set". Silvio replies.

I nod my head. "Good. Make sure that it is done before the wedding".

"Not even in a million years I would've thought that you would get married". Silvio says.
"Me too". Seraphina agrees.

"It's not like I had a choice". I reply. "Besides the marriage won't take long, I will succeed in my plan and the girl will be vanished".

"She doesn't seem like a naive girl, she is tough". Seraphina adds. "Just because she doesn't use violence doen't mean that she doesn't know how our business works".

"Just wait till she knows who I really am". I state.

ʚ YAQUELINE'S POV ɞ

Silence.

Silence is and will be always draining me. The thoughts in my head get too loud, it feels like my head could explode. Silence is an interesting conception interpreted in many different ways.

For me, I hate it. It reminds me of the times that I was useless. I am someone that lives off of sounds.

But here I am locked myself up in my bathroom.

Today is the day of my engagement. I hate it.

They already did my make up and hair I went to the bathroom so I could dress up. But I am just sitting on the floor.

Normally I would always play some music but today I am enjoying the silence, for the first time.

"Are you okay jaccie?" Divine knocks on the door.
I get up and open the door. "No".

She hugs me and I hug her back tightly. "I don't want to marry him".

"We will find a way to get you out of this". She tries to assures me.

I take a deep breath and let her go. "Just help me with the dress".

The dress is baby pink color and it's silky. It reaches the ground but if I am wearing heels it's slightly touching it, making it the perfect height for me. It's off the shoulders and has a heart décolleté.
