Chapter 6

On the previous chapter...

Sometimes I could wish that we can hear each other's thoughts. He is trying to get under the Mancini's nerves, I can tell but he won't get a reaction out of this robot.

"Are you suggesting that he is planning a downfall on the french mafia?" His sister asks.

Jacques chuckles. "Wow those were your words not mine". He turns his attention back to Federico. "I was just wondering because she is my sister and I am sure that you will do the same thing when yours get married, right Rico?"

He is trying to get under his nerves.

I clench my jaw and try to kick him from underneath the table but he is to far away. Divine grabs my hand that was underneath the table and squeezes it.

"Of course Jac". Federico replies. "But those are questions that you should ask your father not me".

"And why is that?" Jacques asks
"Because he is the one who came up with the deal". Federico states and my face drops.

What is my father planning?

Her twin brother has a death wish and I will make sure to fulfill it.

He is lucky that I made a deal with his father otherwise I would've sliced his head off and served it as dinner for his own family.

My self control is stronger than my desires. I worked hard for it, it took me a couple years. Either you take control over it or it will take control over you.

I know that he is trying to get a reaction out of me but I won't give him that satisfaction. I could tell by their reactions that they didn't know that their father planned this.

Why would I want to marry her anyway?

I almost puked when I kissed her on the cheek and touched her waist. I hate physical contact. But everything for the show of course.

If they want answers from me they should seek to their father first. I don't own them anything and never will be.

Mauro cleared his throat. "Drop it Jacques. Let's discuss the wedding". Jacques clenches his jaw but doesn't utter a word. That's what I thought French boy. Keep it quit.

Yaqueline and Jacques look after their mother, especially their eyes and face feature. I saw her a couple times and she seemed like a decent woman. Other then that I actually don't want any business with them. There is a lot of history behind the French and Italian mafia. A reason why these two aren't alliances and why it is only possible by marriage.

People have suffered and died.

The Italian mafia is built through strong soldiers, who didn't give up. And a man who had dreams and didn't stop till he had everything he had. It's built through blood, sweat and tears. Just a marriage won't make this all gone, I will make sure that the French mafia will suffer even more. The marriage is just making my plan easier.

"The wedding will take place in Italy". I state. "After that we will live in my house".

We have a family house there. It's tradition in our family to marry there and I plan on to carry that tradition.
