As the team gathered in the meeting room, Tay began to brief them on the assignment to catch the escaped criminals. The presentation slides displayed possible routes the criminals might have taken and areas of interest for surveillance. Tay's voice was calm and steady as he went through each slide, outlining the potential challenges and strategies for apprehending the fugitives. His thorough analysis provided valuable insights for the team to consider as they planned their approach.
After the meeting concluded, the other teammates began to file out of the room, their minds already turning to the tasks ahead.
"P'Tay, i..." Bright started to say as he turned, but Tay interrupted him with a raised hand. "Bright, Win, Book, I'd like you three to stay back for a moment," Tay requested, his tone serious.
Curious, Bright, Win, and Book exchanged puzzled glances before taking a seat once again.
Tay cleared his throat before speaking. "I spoke with Arm earlier," he began, his gaze shifting between the three of them. "It seems Force will be joining us on this assignment. They are on their way here as we speak. Once they arrive, we'll discuss the details of our cooperation further."
The news took them by surprise, but they nodded in acknowledgment, ready to adjust their plans accordingly. With Force's expertise and support, they knew they stood a better chance at bringing the criminals to justice. Understanding the importance of coordinating with Force for the mission ahead. They waited patiently in the meeting room, their minds already buzzing with ideas and strategies.
As they waited, Bright and Win decided to grab some coffee from the pantry, settling into a corner to sip their drinks and discuss the mission in more detail. Meanwhile, Book stood nearby, waiting for the coffee to brew, his thoughts focused on the upcoming assignment.
Their conversation was suddenly interrupted by the sound of someone knocking on the pantry door. Turning towards the entrance, they were surprised to see Force standing there, a determined expression on his face.
"Hey, guys," Force greeted them, his voice filled with determination. "Mind if I join you?" Bright, Win, and Book all acknowledged his presence, smiling warmly at their teammate. In unison, they called out Force's name, welcoming him to join them.
"Where's P'Arm?" Bright asked curiously, his gaze flickering between Force and the door.
Force replied, "P'Arm is here, but he wanted to talk to P'Tay privately first."
As the conversation continued, Book couldn't help but feel a slight blush creep into his cheeks. "Would you like some coffee, Force?" he asked, offering a warm smile.
Force returned the smile, his eyes softening as he looked at Book. "Yes, please," he replied affectionately, his heart swelling with love for his partner.
