A new day with new things

"Where is Mrunal Mam?" Sara asked while entering.

"I am here Sara"

Mrunal said with cold expression. She dragged Sara by her hand to the cabin and locked the door.

"Sara we are taking the case. In fact, you will be the lead. But there's a thing that you have to do"

"What, Mam?"

"Have you heard the name of Honey Trap?"

"Mam I know this....but what are you saying exactly?"

"Sara you will go and honey trap Mr.Kartik. He will have to confess his deeds himself. You have to collect the evidences."

"Mam I am lawyer not a secret agent" Sara said with utmost frustration.

"Sara It's a part of our jobs. Also don't share it with anyone else. It will be secretive as well as important. It's a mission"

"Why me?"

"Because...uhh you are new to this and no one knows you as a famous lawyer yet"

"And what about Mr.Mrigesh?

"He is a good man. He is genuine. Remember Sara, you will have to sacrifice a lot during this case but for a girl who had been assaulted without any evidence"

"What did I have to do?" Sara asked sternly.

"Sara your mom was a renowned actress, right?"

"Yes but how do you know?"

"It was in your bio. Let it be. She must've contacts with producers and directors of the industry. If you can work there, it would be easier for you to trap Kartik"

"It would be unfair I mean it's not practical"

"Do whatever I am saying unless I have the audicity to ruin your career right here . I need the results by tomorrow. Now I have some work at my son's school so I am leaving"

Sara was taken agape at her senior's behaviour that she couldn't reply anything.

Sara couldn't comprehend any information she got. She was having really bad vibes about this entire thing.

Sara called her mother.

"Hi mom"

"Hi beta. What happened? You decided to call me suddenly? Is everything alright?"

"Yeah mom. I...I just need a favour"

"What kind of favour? "

"Mom you wished me to join the film industry, right? I want to give an audition. I wa...want to join" Sara said with great difficulty.

"Are you ok, Sara? You said that..."

"Mom what I have said earlier doesn't matter anymore. Can you do it?"

"Yes...I will talk and you can give audition. Though I don't know beta...it's upto you if you will be selected or not"

"I know. Thank you...bye. I will talk to you later"

Sara cut the call before her mom.could ask anything. She engrossed herself in random paperworks. She let herself believe that it was a part of her job which she wasn't aware of earlier.

Kartik at a renowned director's office

"Hello Kartik, what's up?"

"I'm good Sir"

"I hope you have already read the scripts.

"Yes Sir I'm really excited to dive into this film project with you"
