The forgotten key

Chapter seven

It's been a couple of weeks after the first party I've been here. I've done so many things with my new friends. But today I've said to me that I have to chill and do some me-time. I mean I love hanging with friends but it been a lot these days. Mom is for her work in a other state and Gavin flew with a couple of friends to a house in Italy. He said his friends family is this house. I'm a little jealous but the good thing is that I have the whole house for myself. It's now 10:50 a.m. and I make breakfast. Of course I fed Nemo before I eat. If I do his food after I ate mine he'll scream my ears till it bleeds. I made a toast and a smoothie. I'll try new healthy recipes out because it really helps me to do something in a day. And a good meal in the morning will lend to a good day as I'm hoping for. It's not the first time I'm alone but it's the first time that I'm alone in this house for a week. Maybe I'll invite some friends over in the next days but not today.
My to do's for the day are:
- buy something to eat
- get some fresh air.
That sounds of a good day

Elijah and I haven't seen each other since the party. When I'm for real I don't even know why. I mean I didn't even had time. I've done things with my new friends. It's was really fun with him on the beach. Maybe I'm delulu but it feels like we have a connection. Man I don't know.

Now I'm so full I can't take any more bite. I should definitely lay in the garden and chill. At first I should call penny. We haven't spoke since last week and need an update from each others life. I can later get

After this good life update call I'm gonna read a new book I've bought yesterday. I'm curious what will happen and hope I'll like it. It's so sunny and warm outside. Just perfect.

Okay, yes I definitely like it -no love it! I'm halfway through and I'm yet so invested in this damn book. Damn just love it. This characters are matching and this damn boy. I'm so in love with him. This man in real life would be so good. I just read this book the whole day. Yes I'm not the fastest reader but it's not my fault that my brain is it slow mode. Maybe because I read the spicey scences over and over and over. But these two are perfect for each other and damn this story is just yum yum.

It's now 6:30p.m. and I think I'll just get a pizza. So I get inside and lay my book on the counter. Ah I can't but think about the book.
After I got my stuff I get out to buy the pizza. Gavin talked about a really good pizza here. I'm not really sure what the name was. Maybe I should text him. But I don't think he'll see it. He didn't even saw my last text from yesterday. Such a dickhead. Okay I'll just type pizza in the map app so I can remember the name. He said it was near. Okay yes got it. I just have to walk a little but now I can do my two do to's in one.
So I'll get going. ... Now left and.. damn am I too dumb or something. I just hate this app. Okay yes I have to go right. No no no... shit.. It's dead. But I think I'll remember the last step.
Yes oh my god. I'm here.
"Hey, what can I get you" the man asked.
"Uhm just a salami pizza, please" I say.
"Okay good would be ready in fifteen minutes young lady."
"Okay I'll just wait here.- uhm do you have an charger for a iPhone? My phone just died and I really need it."
"I'm sorry but I don't have a iPhone. But for what do you need it? Other wise you can look in my computer if it's that important." He says with a little smile.
Shit. Maybe I can try to remember the way home if I google it.
"Oh that would be nice. You are really kind."
"I have a kid in your age so I always imagine my little daughter and how she asked me that." He's say with a sentimental smile.
"Again thank you."
So I google my home and how I'm gonna get home. Okay it's not that hard. Just this street and than left and than right than the street down and right. Juliette concentrate I say to myself.
"Okay here's your pizza."
"Thank you very much for the pizza and the computer."
"Of course, have a good evening."
After I gave him the money I head home. Okay Juliette it was this street and now left. Now right. Okay than.. I got with a different way there so I really don't know where I am. I've never been here. Shit. Okay that's not that hard you just have to remember.. I guess now right. Even if I get the wrong way I would find a way home. So now left. Okay no just a house but not mine. Okay I'm gonna have to take right not left. And yes it was right. I see my house and it feels so good. I don't know how long I walked but if feels like hours.
At the door I want to get in. Shit. No this can't be real. I didn't forgot the key. For fucking sake. What am I gonna do now. My phone dead and without a key. I'm so tired and gonna cry in a sec. Okay no Juliette. Breathe in.. breath out.. You have a pizza so eat a slice and maybe then I have a key..
Didn't work. Man I don't wanna get on his nerve. But I have to ring for the second key. So I get over to his house and ring.
"Yeah..? Oh Juliette what are you doing here?"
"I know this sounds dumb but I forgot my key again and no one is at home. So I wanna grab the second key."
"Juliette you didn't bring the key back. It's in your house.."
"No. Shit am I that dumb. Fuck what am I gonna do. Gavin and mom are out of the city even out the whole damn county."
"Guess you gonna stay here. Or sleep outside."
"But everything is in the house."
"We're gonna get someone tomorrow but now no one could help."
"Okay thank you."
Glad i don't have to sleep outside.
