mattheo takes more after his mother than father. he lacks the sharp, cruel gaze of his father and brother, and instead has that dead-eyed, panic inducing stare. he has strangely puppy-like eyes, but he knows how to make them look seductive or dangerous, depending on what the situation calls for.
he has the same deep dark brown hair as the rest of the men in his family, and like tom, he takes pride in his curls, bringing them out as much as he can. his grown out mullet accentuates his features, and he definitely has a way with his hair (read; mattheo riddle does not know what a bad hair day is).
similarly to tom, mattheo has extensive scarring across his back and chest, and a mighty scar runs the curve of his eye socket, paired with the small nick spanning his nose.
he's impressively built for his size (5'8), and has a relatively well developed body.

mattheo is a reckless, impulsive individual, and does whatever feels right in the moment. he's extremely disorganised, and everything comes to him spontaneously (do not make plans with this mofo, he won't show up because he "caught a vibe").
he struggles to comprehend and ask for wants, and his curiosity is hard fought these days.
he has an immensely dark and morbid humour, but would give his friends the world if he could.
academia:
mattheo has never been one for structure, and skips classes whenever it feels right (basically every other day) and thus has an extremely low grade average.
he does know the importance of exams though, and before any of them, he begs tom or theo for help; he's quite smart and as such it isn't hard for him to understand new concepts.
mattheo cheeks teachers a lot and is frequently seen in detention.
mattheo is very good at nonverbal magic, but struggles with wandless, and so can only perform a few simple spells.
