"Wait- Wasn't there someone else here that you guys knew?" Worthy asked, confused, as he looked at them all.

Takoda looked at Worthy with a blank look, then glanced at one of the mushroom houses. "I don't know what you're talking about..."

"Eh," said Shadow, flicking a lock of hair out of her face. "If y'all forgot about them, they're probably not important."

The group laughed. They were more happy than they were in a long time. The group climbed out of the cave (Rollan, Meilin, Conor, Abeke, Shadow, and Worthy had an easier time of it), and stepped out into the forest. As the group hiked to the other side of the mountain range. They didn't want to play "Best meal ever", as it was rather boring now. They didn't want to think about food. Rollan kept a constant stream of jokes until Meilin told him to "Shut it, or those dumb jokes would be the last thing he ever said." Rollan sulked instead.

Conor touched his staff and said, "We'll be nearing the mountain range's end soon. We should hike down south towards Nilo. We don't have the proper supplies to go there now, though, sorry Abeke. Let's go to... Oceanus. We can pick up Kalani. She can help prepare us for the journeys ahead."

"Conor! Brother!" A familiar voice called out. Dawson Trunswick was running towards them. There was a brown-haired girl with him. They were both disheveled and dirty. Worthy's eyes lit up as he embraced his brother. The new girl introduced herself. "I'm Katalin. I'm a Greencloak, too. I know you guys, of course!" Katalin nodded to Conor, Abeke, Meilin, and Rollan. Abeke smiled. "Nice to meet you, Katalin. Where are you off to?" Katalin hesitated before speaking again. "Well... nowhere, really. I went on an adventure and got lost. So, I'm off to nowhere. Mind if I join you guys?" She asked uncertainly. "Yeah!" Said Howl. "That goes for you too," said Shadow, pointing at Dawson.

It was days before they reached the shore. Rollan was complaining again, and his face was red from Meilin, and now the rest of the girls, slapping it. Shadow and Worthy frequently went on walks together, and Dawson told them rather amusing stories.

"... And then, when Worthy returned, Shadow ran out to greet him, she was so happy. Then, the first thing she said to him was," He put on a bad imitation of Shadow's voice. " 'Worthy... I-I just can't believe it... Your tail wasn't properly chopped off! When I get a hold of Jolt, I swear, I'm gonna..." Rollan's voice cut through the chorus of laughter. "Either that, or we could get him a lifetime subscription to that place that has that new cosmetic called 'electrolysis!'" Meilin was quick to make fun of him. "Yeah," she added, jeeringly. "We could use that on your nose hair!" Abeke and Conor fell off the logs they were sitting on. Rollan frowned and pouted.

With some time on their hands, the group decided they would brainstorm who they would collect next.

"Uhhh. Who were the people we met when we tried to get to Mulop?" Abeke asked.

"The islanders? In Oceanus?" Conor suggested.

"No, no, the ruler?"

"Kalani?"

"That's the one! What about her?"

"Hmph sounds easy enough," Meilin said.

"Easy enough? Sounds like someone's gonna almost die for two whales again," Rollan smirked.

"No, please, no fighting," Dawson facepalmed.

Abeke got up and collected their map.

"So, tomorrow we can travel there, hopefully, no brain-washed sharks."

The next day, the group collected their belongings and bags and set off for Oceanus.

Dawson had a couple small rafts set up next to the beach. They were soaked with rain, and rotting wood was falling off in chips, though they would hold until they arrived at Oceanus, where hopefully there would be some rafts. But, Meilin and Rollan would have a difficult time as the islanders considered them "Tapu".
