"Are you reading that fairy tale again?"

A low chuckle vibrated through the chilly air that came through the cracks of the broken building. Only a few lit candles and the moon illuminating the dark space that they were currently residing in.

One of the spider legs' interest was awoken at the sight of the book in the hand of their boss. A book she and the others had known for quite a while now, wondering why he would still be giving the words on the old paper so much attention.

"I would hope for the person that it's only a fairy tale."

There were a few wonders of the world they knew and didn't know about. One of these has been the scarlet eyes of the Kurta Clan, despite them trying to hide it. Very few were really able to keep their secrets from the world and that's exactly what the man was wondering about.

What other treasures were there that he didn't know about? That he couldn't get his hands on simply because of the fact that it is the unknown. Recently it has been on his mind relatively often and he couldn't get his eyes off the book because of this very same reason.

What if the silver beast, the moonchild really existed? A woman that was ordinary but turned into a divine beauty under the exposure of the moonlight. The simple fact that her hair would turn silver had him wondering if it would also look pretty in his collection of the many things that he took for himself in his life. There were no lengths he wouldn't take to steal what he wanted, that should be very obvious with the massacre of the Kurta Clan.

Silence engulfed the dark, gloomy space again when the members of the troupe would exchange some looks of either confusion or curiosity. They were just waiting for the head of the spider to get its legs moving again.

Another few minutes passed in where they waited patiently with anticipation, suddenly snapping their heads back to the front after they heard the closing of the book echoing through every corner in the room.

"I made a decision."

The very same moment Lucilfer would say these words under the rays of the moonlight, the woman with the curse or the blessing turned her head towards the bright full moon on the clear night sky. A small delighted but shaky sigh left her rosy lips when she felt the tingling sensation on her skin again. Like the sun burning on your skin, just...much more pleasant.

"Already full moon again? I gotta stop forgetting about it..."

To her luck she was fully by herself, alone on a field far away from the city she has never seen before since her journey was from far far away. Just to make sure that she was alone, her eyes scanned the area as soon as the roots of her dark hair would start to turn into a brilliant silver that reached fully to the tips in just a matter of seconds.

There's nothing she could hide when she was under exposure to the full moon's shine, that's why it was so crucial that she had to be alone this fateful night. Not like she was ever with someone at that time, she rarely knew anybody and especially here she had no one.

Another heavy sigh left her lips, already feeling the stinging in her eyes again while staring at the moon.

"Why did you leave me alone?"

At this point it felt like a tradition just to cry every time her hair would turn the same color as the moon, the same color as her eyes that was the only thing revealing her connection to that orb.

Was it even a connection, or just a lie of her own to make the bittersweet tragedy just a little sweeter? It was a nice thought to think that fairy tale with Princess Kaguya might have a connection to her. That she would turn to an absolute beauty as soon as the moonlight hit her skin but yet her case was entirely different.
