Percy POV

I couldn't even believe this was happening. I was charging at Kronos with Annabeth by my side. Kronos suddenly slowed down time and before I could do anything, He stabbed Annabeth with his scyth right into Annabeth's back.

Even though he let time flow again, It stopped around me as I saw in slow motion.

Annabeth coughed out blood and started falling to the ground.

I ran to her and held her in my arms, telling myself that we've survived worse than this and she would make it no matter what.

Annabeth's stormy eyes were filled with sadness and love as she told me one word in my ears,

"Go

I couldn't hold it in anymore.

I stood up and faced Kronos , Who was laughing at my sorrow.

I held up riptide let out an ear shattering battle cry.

It was my sadness, anger and battle cry that filled the battle grounds. I charged at him with all my might, my anger and sadness building up with it as I let out a Thunder shaking slash. One slash and I broke his scyth.

Another slash ended to be the death of him.

I dropped Riptide and ran towards Annabeth kneeling down and holding her in my arms.

She looked at me and smiled softly.

a tear slipped the corner of my eyes as I watched her smiling down at me with so much pain.

A bright blinding flash teleported us to another place, but I didn't care. Annabeth was not going to make it..

I held her hard while more tears slipped my eyes.

I heard a lot of gasps.

I looked up to see the Stolls, Katie, Thali, Clarisse, Chris, Nico, Will, Hazel, Frank, Leo, Calypso, Piper and Jason looking down with horror.

" Annabeth, we can do this! We've been through way more than a stupid scyth!" I told her, half convincing myself.

She held up one of her hand and touched my face gingerly.

" Percy, we both know that's not possible. The scyth is poisonous to demigods." She said soothingly.

At this point, I just couldn't do it anymore as tears after tears flowed down my face.

Thalia fell down next to Annabeth, crying while looking at her face.

I realized a lot of children were coming in to see. Why were children here in the middle of a war?

Then I realized that I was looking at my younger self who was looking down on Annabeth in disbelief.

Beside him, was a younger Annabeth looking down at herself in shock.

Annabeth coughed blood again,

I squeezed her hard more firmly.

"Percy...I'm a fallen warrior. I hope you won't cry for me or be depressed." Annabeth told me.

This was wrong. I should be the one soothing her. not the other way round.

Will was trying his best to patch up her wound, but it wasn't working.

"Hey.. seaweed brain. Don't be miserable ok?"

" Wise girl, we were supposed to have a future together. You can't just leave." I protested.

A godly light appeared and there stood 3 gods. Apollo immediately went to Annabeth's side and tried to patch her up.

Athena sat beside Annabeth watching her with a sorrowful face.

Poseidon came and put a shoulder on my hand.

" Thank us all we made it here on time, I might be able to save her with a 1% chance." Apollo said looking very focused.

" What happened Jackson?" Athena told me through gritted teeth.

I couldn't speak. It was all my fault. I should've known that Kronos would target her. I could've protect her...

"Athena, don't blame Percy for what happened. He is in a state of shock." Poseidon spoke back.

"It is my fault. I should've known." I said, my voice cracking.

"Son, you couldn't have possibly known." Poseidon said soothingly.

A lot of people gasped. I didn't care why they gasped. I just held Annabeth in my hands letting Apollo do his thing.

I leaned and gave her a kiss on the lips. It wasn't long, but it was filled with love.

Some of the children gasped again, but I didn't care.

I felt her lips going cold as I pulled away.

I looked at Apollo who looked like someone slapped him.

" Aaah, We're loosing her!" He said, ordering all the Apollo kids frantic orders.

I held her tight in my arms. I would never ever let her go.

Her eyes were loosing the stormy look that I'd fallen in love with. For a second, everything went blank.

Annabeth closed her eyes as her breathing was slowing down.

Apollo didn't bother with the infirmary as he said it would just waste time.

I just sat there on the ground, thinking I'd just lost the only thing that kept me going.

Then Apollo stuck a tube in frustration and her breathing steadied, her eyes opened again slowly receiving her stormy grey eyes.

I was so relieved, I let out a big sigh of relief, but so did everyone else.

"Percy...I...I'm alive!" Annabeth said, looking shocked.

I didn't even speak, I just hugged her tight and cried into her chest.

I didn't care what the others were saying.

I got my Wise girl back. That's all that mattered.
