Love Is Blind (Part 2)

Naruto POV

As I was walking home my mind drifted back to when I first became blind at first it was hard having to relearn my way around the village and my apartment I know the others have been worried about me since the incident but I need to learn to do things on my own, I don't mind that Shikamaru mum cooks for me sometimes and she's been helping me by teaching me how to cook especially when she found out that I burnt my arm the first time I tried to cook on my own, I chuckled softly to myself when I think about how granny was even worried every time I walked into the kitchen now though I've gotten better at it and granny sometimes comes to mine for dinner, I've slowly started to talk to Ino whenever she sees me and it's getting easier, I don't stiffen up much now which is progress, though I still don't let anyone touch me other than Tsunade, Shikamaru and his parents

I thought back to Shikamaru's and just before I left I thought I sensed someone watching us but since Shikamaru didn't say anything maybe it was my ears playing tricks on me since my body is probably tired from training all day, I finally got to my apartment and I got a good sniff of myself "I think I'll get a shower" I muttered to myself feeling sweaty and disgusting before making my way towards my bathroom, granny made sure I knew where everything was in my apartment and nothing was moved from it's originally place so it made things easier on me

Believe me it's stopped me from tripping over and banging into stuff most of the time which I'm really grateful for, I now felt clean after my shower and since it's so late I decided to go straight to bed but the minute I got into bed there was a knock on the door "who can that be" I spoke out loud as I walked slowly towards the door but before I opened it I sent out a short amount of chakra to see if it was anyone I know but when I did I froze not truly believing who I'm sensing "dobe" he whispered touching my arm I didn't even noticed when I opened the door "s....s...Sasuke" I stuttered slightly not believing my ears "of course it is dobe, who else would it be" he said before walking past me into my apartment I close the door and quickly followed him, I can't believe he's here, when did he get here, how long is he here for...those were the questions that were swimming in my head but then another thought made me nervous....does he know about me being blind

Sasuke POV

I finally got to the dobe's apartment and knocked I knew it was late but Naruto has never followed anyone's rules so I smiled slightly when I heard footsteps walking towards the door and then I felt his chakra [is that how he determines who is at the door whether it is friend or foe because I've never known you can do that] I thought impressed at how much hard work that would've taken, he opened the door and stood frozen [does he even know that it's open] I thought worried that someone would try and hurt him so I decided to speak "dobe" I saw his eyes widen "s...s..sasuke" he stuttered surprised, which I wasn't expecting, I raised a eyebrow at him even though he can't see me "of course it is dobe, who else would it be" I replied rolling my eyes, at how stupid he sounded

I walked past him into his apartment which surprisingly was clean which is definitely a difference from when he was younger before turning around to face him "it's been a long time Naruto" I whispered not looking away from his face "why are you in the village, does granny know your here" he asked still shocked but at least he's talking to me "I came home dobe and of course she knows" I replied quickly, he nodded slowly "oh" then just walked into another room leaving me standing there confused [why the fuck is he walking away from me] I thought mentally thinking what was wrong but then I followed him and saw it was the kitchen "it's nice that you stopped by sasuke and I'm happy that your home but I was just about to get a shower before going to sleep" he whispered softly as he sat at the kitchen table, this isn't right this isn't my dobe the one who's hyper all the time what happened to him to lose his sunshine
