Sasuke POV

I was sitting around the fire in the forest thinking about Naruto, I can't seem to get him out my head lately it's like he's permanently on my mind, which I don't mind really because he's mine even if he's found someone else.....I paused and narrowed my eyes, as I just thought of him with someone else, he better not have found someone else because him and his body belong to me and me alone, I've been on this mission for the last 2 months, since the start of this mission all I've thought of was Naruto, so I know the minute I get back to the leaf after reporting to the Hokage I'm going straight to Naruto's place I wont let Sakura get in my way either, now that I think about it I've noticed that whenever I saw any of the council members they all started congratulating Sakura's mother on having the perfect son-in-law at first I never understood what they were talking about but after Ino told me a few things, it all started to make sense and I was angry

Yes it's finally time to go home, after the war I didn't know where I was going to go but Naruto had asked me if I would ever consider coming back to the leaf and I decided to agree since it would give me a chance to see him more often but when we all returned he disappeared most of the time and Sakura kept on popping up whenever I tried looking for him, I knew she wasn't really helping me look for him because she always had this smug look in her eyes whenever we walked past the red district and I only remembered later on that Naruto lives in that district, I saw him one day helping a shop owner fix her roof and considering she wasn't wearing much I could already guess what type of shop she owned but I kept thinking why was Sakura keeping me away from him and then I found out.....by Ino no less

Flash Back

"Sasuke, can I talk to you for a minute" Ino said the minute I opened my door, I was going to refuse but then I thought back and realised she hadn't said kun after my name so I nodded slowly, she smiled slightly and walked in to the living room "what do you want" I asked without snarling since I only ever kept that for Sakura now a days "I think you need to know what's going on before you make a big mistake" she paused and looked at me I raised my eyebrow "Sakura and her mother has been spreading rumours around the village about you and her being a couple" I narrowed my eyes she held her hands up "I know it's not true but since the villagers have seen you together quite a lot lately, they are starting to believe it and actually starting to prepare for the wedding" she stopped and flinched when a threw a glass against the wall "what the fuck, I would never marry that bitch" I growled out angrily, who the hell would think I would marry her, I mean she isn't even good looking and her voice is like nails on a chalk board

She sighed softly "I know, you see I also know how you feel about Naruto" she smirked when I spun around to face her she chuckled her eyes shining knowingly "it's obvious Sasuke, when we were younger you always seem to know each other and during the war no-one could argue that you both work really well together, even when you haven't practised the move, now I'm going to go out on a limb and say that you haven't told Naruto because you think he's avoiding you but that isn't the case, you know Naruto lives in the red district and has done since he was kicked out of the orphanage when he was 4, so he feels a certain responsibility to help rebuild that section of the village and it also helps that they care for him" she stood up and started to pick the broken pieces up from the floor "he loves you too Sasuke but he's afraid to say anything and considering that your never alone without Sakura, now he stopped trying to talk to you" I thought back to all those times that I was walking around the village with Sakura trying to find Naruto she always looked happy when a villager looked our way
