"Don't tell me you're thinking about our kiss right now."
Kaiser asked the second he felt her heartbeat increase.
His words only made it worse, making him smirk in amusement. "Are you that nervous around me? Come on, talk to me."
He whispered in her ear and gently ran his fingers through her hair. If Mira didn't know better, she would've thought that he was trying to seduce her.
Fucking bastard.
"Shut your trap before I kill you. I may or may not have a gun in my nightstand." She threatened and sqeezed his hand that was on her waist.
"Really? Can I really trust your words? I know you're pretty good at bluffing." The vampire replied, feeling confident that she was lying.
That was until he felt the cold metal against his abdomen. His eyes widened as she cocked the gun and placed her finger on the trigger.
"Choose your next words wisely or your organs are going splat on the floor." She said, her tone laced with venom.
Kaiser felt his breath hitch for the first time. He was caught extremely off guard. Guess I shouldn't have been so trusting. He thought and smirked.
