3rd Person POV
—The Future, Crisis City—
Within an abandoned building, long consumed by the Flames of Disaster, life starts brewing. From the ceiling, a portal comes out. From it come out four different beings. One a Hedgehog, an echidna, and two foxes. They fall to the ground.
Sonic: Talk about...a low budget...time vortex!
Y/N: I think I broke a bone.
Knuckles merely crashes headfirst into the ground, before he pulls himself out.
Knuckles: Hey, where'd Eggman send us?
Tails: Weird, this is the same place we were just in, except...ruined?
Y/N gets up, before looking around.
Y/N: Dear God.
Sonic: Y/N? You OK?
Y/N: No, I think I know where we are.
Knuckles: You do? Then tell us!
Y/N: I'm pretty sure we're in the future, 200 years after where we just were.
Y/N's statement appears to shock the rest of Team Sonic, who'd known of Y/N being from the future, but not expecting it to be that bad.
Tails: So this is what you've been dealing with for your whole life?!
Y/N: Unfortunately, Yes.
Sonic: Looks way too edgy for me.
Tails: Hang on, I believe it'd be best if we search for other people first. That way we can figure a way to escape.
Sonic: Hm, that is true.
Suddenly, a loud noise is heard.
Y/N: Oh great. It's back.
Tails: What is?!
Y/N: The Flames of Disaster, Iblis.
Y/N gets up.
Knuckles: Flames of what?!
Y/N: No time to explain. You three head towards that direction. That was where me, Silver, and Blaze were before we were sent to your time. I'll handle Iblis.
Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles look at each other with skepticism about leaving Y/N alone, but eventually come on the agreement that it's for the better.
Sonic: Alright, good luck then.
Knuckles: We'll catch up to you later.
Tails: Stay safe out there.
Y/N leaves the group.
Sonic: So, I suppose we should begin exploring?
Knuckles: I guess so-
???: Oh, look who's here! I didn't expect to see you guys.
The trio look towards the source of the voice, revealing it to come from a bat, who's accompanied by a black hedgehog.
Tails: Rouge! Shadow!
Rouge: Hi! Long time no see!
Shadow simply looks off to the side.
Shadow(thought): Who was it they were saying farewell to?

Y/N is busy jumping stone to stone, trying to avoid the lava.
Y/N (thoughts): Last time we were here, it was as if Iblis was searching for something. That only happened after we found Ibly though. Weird...
