THE WIND BLEW harsh and the tension was thick. Appa was gone and nobody knew what to do. The wind was blowing sand in everyone's face, and dragged their hair high.
"How could you let them take Appa?" Aang yelled at Toph, "Why didn't you stop them!?" Aangs voice sounded hurt, his voice cracking after almost everyone word he spoke
"I couldn't! The library was sinking, you guys were still inside, and—" Toph was cut off by Aang him stomping over to yell louder in her ear.
"You could've come to get us! I could've saved him!" Aang shouted.
"I can hardly feel any vibrations out here! The sand-benders snuck up on me, and there wasn't time for—"
"YOU JUST DIDN'T CARE! YOU NEVER LIKED APPA YOU WANTED HIM GONE!" Aang interrupted Tophs reasoning, yelling in her face.
Katara decided to step up in hopes to calm down Aang and ease the tension.
