ZUKO, AZULA, MAI, and Ty lee were currently on their way to Ember Island by force, Fire Lord Ozai sending them there so he could spend some alone time in a meeting.
"I'm so excited to spend the weekend on Emebr Island!" Ty lee yelled excitedly, looking over the ledge, "it's gonna be great to hang out on the beach and do nothing"
"Doing nothing is a waste of time," Zuko spat, "We're being sent away on a forced vacation. I feel like a child."
Ever since Zuko left and betrayed (Y/n), he's felt empty and miserable. He's been growing his hair out like she wanted. He even started dating Mai to attempt fill the giant hole she left is in heart.
It wasn't working.
Mai was nice, gorgeous even. But in Zuko's eyes she didn't even compare to (Y/n). Not even by a little bit. (Y/n) was funny, matched his humor, she fought for what was right and stood up for people who couldn't.
He loved that about her.
Zuko got up from his seat next to Mai, looking over the edge into the blue waters. He gripped the railing, his teeth gritting together. Zuko felt so much regret for leaving her, leaving the life he could've potentially had with (Y/n).
