The crystal jewel in her ears tangles as she moves her head in the direction of the stage. Tinsey’s eyes sparkled as the magic trick continued to be performed. She held her two hands together, always ready for a clap, while her hidden expression from the mask with butterfly wings in both corners of her eye showed amusement.

Her dress was a layered ball gown. A nice baby pink colour that matches her shoe and the pearl necklace on her neck.

The VIP seat in this theatre had allowed her and Childe to have an upper view of the stage. Despite being at a taller angle and sitting on the balcony, the magic show never failed to show its success.

“Be careful, lady Tinsey,” Childe tries to calm her down. Perhaps she hasn’t gotten a chance to be outside this much; she got a little excited.

“That lady with the cat ear—her moves are so nimble yet cool. The gentleman with the top hat is so elegant with his trick,” Tinsey points out to the two actors on the stage. Childe recognises them, and despite them wearing a mask, everyone knows who they are.

House of the heart. This is the name of the theater. It is owned by Arlecchino and run by Lyney. Oftentimes, this theatre is used for shows like this or a small party. Today is a combination of the two.

Childe observes his surroundings. As expected, everyone got their mask on. Whether it is yellow, blue, or white, nobody shows their bare face. Some have a fancier mask than others. The masks are decorated with feathers or gems, and sometimes they have unique features like butterfly wings.

Childe is also no different from the others. Greyish white suits with gold strings hanging from them He is dressed like he is a general in royalty. The blue cape on his back didn’t fail to get along with the colour theme he chose today. His usual red mask is nowhere to be seen, and it has been replaced with a silver masquerade mask.

Despite Tinsey and Childe both wearing masks,. Everyone from afar could easily tell that they were both good-looking.

The show continued for a while, with a few claps and gasps in between. Lynett didn’t show any sign of coldness when she jumped into a water tank to perform a quick escape.

Childe could see Tinsey is having fun; he can tell the audience is enjoying the show too, and he as well should be focused on them. Yet he cannot help but wander his eyes to the person sitting next to Arlecchino across from him.

The VIP seats in this theatre are on the side of the stage, like a built-in curtain balcony that allows visitors to watch the show from higher ground. While everybody else watches from below, there is space between him and the other person sitting next to Arlecchino, but he could tell who that person is.

It’s a different dress from that night, but the colours are the same. White off-shoulder gown with a white masquerade mask. The mask has flowers on the side.

"Childe, look!” Tinsey tugs Childe on the sleeve.

Lyney disappears from the stage and reappears somewhere else, with flowers exploding and raining on the crowds.
