Some wholesome Mcduke <3 Y'all deserve it

TW: Eating disorders

Duke stood in front of the mirror in her underwear, turning around to check herself from every angle. She slowly ran her hands down her own body, feeling every curve and dip before she sighed happily.

'Hey Heather?'

Her girlfriend, who had previously been laying on the bed, silently admiring Duke looked up from her trance.

'Yeah?'

The blonde cheerleader asked, tilting her head as she looked at the short girl expectantly, waiting for her to say something.

'I look good.'

'No you don't! You look amaz- wait what did you say?'

'....I look good... I think...'

A smile of pure, unfiltered joy found its place on Mcnamara's face, smiling from ear to ear. She launched herself forwards, hugging her girlfriend tightly as she squealed. She'd been in recovery from her eating disorder for months now, and despite the purging having almost completely stopped, her body dysmorphia stayed. Often she'd still find herself checking out her body in the mirror, questioning if she was too fat or not. She'd pick apart every aspect of her body until there wasn't a single thing she liked about herself. But her girlfriend was always there to help her through it, telling he she was beautiful and how gorgeous everything about her looked, naming her favorite things about Heather and forcing her to do the same. The answer was always the same: My smile because it's cute, my eyes because they're unique and last... my stomach. Because Mac loves it. The cheerleader lifted Heather Duke up and onto the bed, holding her closely as she peppered her with kisses all over her face.

'Yes! Yes! I told you you could do it! You're so beautiful, you're absolutely gorgeous, pretty girl! The most attractive girl ever in the whole world.'

Heather couldn't help but blush at all this praise, still not used to her girlfriend being so sweet after all this time. All she wanted was to see herself the way Mac saw her, and she was getting there. Slowly, very slowly, with many relapses, breakdowns and tears she was getting there. Her eating disorder fought back but she fought harder, digging her way up to a free life. As a normal teen. She chuckled when her girlfriend straddled her lap, but it morphed into a whine when she moved her kisses down to her neck, sucking on her pulse point.

'You know... I could worship this beautiful body of yours forever...'

She whispered sensually before kissing Duke passionately. The green Heather smiled and kissed back gently before pulling away.

'How about a cuddle session?'

She asked, just wanting to be close to her girlfriend and celebrate this victory together. Even though it was something small, it was still there. And it was there to be celebrated. According to Mac, that is. Mac squealed and pulled her girlfriend close, who rested her head on the cheerleader's chest, listening to the slow heartbeat that could be heard.

'Wanna look at memes on my phone while we cuddle?'

The taller girl offered, placing a soft kiss on Heather's head and wrapping her arms around her in a tight and protective embrace.

'Oh my god yes please.'

Heather smiled, pulling out her phone. Soon the room was filled with short bursts of laughter, both of them out of breath and with hurting stomachs by the end of it as they held each other, each of them just relishing in the other's presence. Both of them simultaneously made a mental promise to forever cherish the other and to never, ever leave them. Heather Mcnamara pressed soft, caring kisses to the top of Heather Duke's head, who in return drew random patterns on Mac's stomach, playing with the fabric of her skirt. After a while, Heather's eyelids grew heavy, her eyes slowly drifting closed as she fell asleep on her girlfriend's chest. Mac smiled softly, admiring the sleeping girl who was still holding her tightly, her breath slowed down and only interrupted by the occasional faint snore as she drifted into a deep sleep, one without nightmares and worries about food, but one with peace and, of course, her girlfriend.

'I love you... gorgeous..'

Heather Mcnamara whispered, pressing one last kiss to her girlfriends forehead before closing her own eyes as well, holding Heather close and drifting off to sleep.
