the day hayeon was going to meet sunghoon had finally come, and she had been stressing about it all morning. she could really care less that he was an idol, that wasn't what concerned her. what concerned her was how deep her feelings for him really were.

if you would've told hayeon two months ago that she would be meeting up with a kpop idol at a closed down skating rink she would've laughed in your face, but there she was, standing in front of the entrance doors and overthinking every decision she had ever made in life.

"hayeon?" she heard a voice call from behind her.

the girl turned around to be met with none other than the person she had been texting every day for weeks, park sunghoon. his voice was deep and his body tall, all things she expected, but what she didn't expect was to see a bouquet of flowers in the grip of his left hand.

she instantly started smiling and ran over to sunghoon to give him a hug, shocking the boy a bit.

he remembered hayeon telling him how easily she made friends with people, and it was clear to see why. she was like a ball of sunshine in person, and even the most introverted people couldn't help but feel good around her. sunghoon hugged hayeon back, his worries beginning to melt away every second he was with her.

"should we go inside?" he asked after they finally split apart, hayeon nodding at his question. after a second sunghoon handed her the flowers he brought, realizing he was still holding them. both of them started to blush at the action, and both made unsuccessful attempts to hide it from the other.

hayeon finally glanced back at the entrance door, frowning. "it looks closed."

it was then that sunghoon reached into his pocket and pulled out a key, stepping up to the door and unlocking it himself.
