it was hard not to fall out of your bed at the loud blaring of some kind of alarm throughout your dorm room. "wakey wakey eggs and bakey" you listened to shidou as he spoke.

"bro.. you gotta come up with better morning calls" karasu groaned and you listened as he got out of his bed.

you were too tired to care about what the others were doing so you quickly got out of your bed, dodging rin as he swung his legs off his bed and moved to stand. it was hard maneuvering around the mess of the room, but you made it out first and immediately made a beeline towards the locker room for a quick shower.

luckily, the only person that was in there had already finished his shower and left when you walked in. you set your things for your shower up the way you liked and sighed softly once the warm water hit your aching limbs from the practice the day before.

after your early shower, you ate a quick breakfast then hurried to the discussion room that loki had set up. you were the last of your team to be there, aside from loki, who walked in after you sat yourself at the end of the line of people in the front and unintentionally next to rin.

"why are you sitting next to me?" rin shot a glance towards you with a small scoff, which you reciprocated. "don't get all cute, asshole.. i didn't even realize i was sitting next you. obviously it wasn't intentional" you avoided his harsh gaze, your eyes fixated on loki as he looked at his phone then up at everyone.

"today, we're all going on a small outing"

a small noise of confusion sounded from you as you tilted your head to the side. by 'outing' did he mean scaling the walls of the other stratums? it was highly unlikely you'd all actually get to see the clear blue sky this early into blue lock.

"how does tokyo sound?" loki asked, looking back down at his phone while typing something. "mr jinpachi is allowing us that much and i've never been there before"

you yawned softly, slightly squinting towards where loki stood in confusion. somehow, it felt like a lie. maybe the group would be abandoned there for not being good enough. was ego really nice that nice?

after talking a little longer, loki let all of you leave the room to get anything you needed for the outing. "is this real?" you asked after trailing behind nanase back into the room. "giving us a day to be out doesn't even make sense.."

"maybe they're gonna kill us" karasu snorted a laugh from where he stood at his bed. "or they're just gonna have us training in some random ass field.. like they'd give us a day off in here" his laugh turned into a slightly annoyed scoff. "what do you think, man?"

he looked at shidou who gave a slight shrug. "as long as we're outside i don't care.. maybe i can run off from the group and do something else"

your face slightly scrunched up as you grabbed your sweater to put it on. what did that even mean?

"you with me, doll..?" shidou's now stood in front of you, gently pushing your hair from your face after you pulled on your sweater. you couldn't help but to slightly shiver at his gentle touch against your skin, barely looking up at him before turning away. "you'll probably get in trouble" you spoke in an uninterested tone despite knowing that he knew his effect on you.

shidou chuckled softly from where he stood behind you, throwing a look over his shoulder at karasu, who rolled his eyes and decided to ignore the scene. "how about you, rin rin?" shidou suddenly said, glancing at rin but ultimately still looking at you for a reaction.

"stop talking to me, roach" rin muttered and you glanced over at him shuffling through his things, likely looking for his blue lock sweater like you had. "i don't even want to go on this dumbass outing anyway. just a big waste of my time"

you heard shidou whisper a quiet 'damn' before walking to his bed. the thought made you laugh softly to yourself, putting your hair up and clipping back the front pieces of your hair before slightly adjusting them until it felt right. "its windy now in tokyo, right..?" you asked to no one in particular, turning around to face the others.

within a second of you asking, shidou was reaching for karasu's phone as karasu was quickly typing into him phone. your eyes met nanase's as you both watched in confusion, rin scoffing softly while the two fought for the phone.

"is it that serious..?" you looked at shidou as he tossed karasu's phone away and began typing on his own phone. "it doesn't really matter.."

"look" rin gently nudged your arm with his phone before showing you his screen. "i think you'll be fine" he muttered as you looked over the weather with a slight frown. "it'll be kinda cold.. are you gonna bring a sweater? i don't wanna be the only one that doesn't"

a soft laugh sounded from rin before it turned into a slight scoff. "what kind of overthinking question is that? you're really scared to be the only warm person in the group?"

"you just don't get it" you said with a playful glare. "are you gonna bring a sweater or not?"

rin turned his phone off and tossed it on his bed, seemingly not caring about it as it nearly fell off the edge of his bed. "im not. even if i knew where it was i wouldn't bring it"

"but its cold.." your eyes stayed on rins as you spoke, a slight pout forming on your lips. "if you get sick and die, we'll have to carry your body out of here.. you'd just be a nuisance to us if that happens" you joked, though your tone sounded kinda serious.

shidou scoffed from where he now laid on his bed. "he's a nuisance now, doll. if anything we benefit since he won't be here anymore"

"if benefitting is losing the best player.." rin sneered and nearly everyone in the room, including yourself, made a noise of disagreement.

"bro thinks he's some kind of hot shot"

"best player my ass"

"he said best player..?"

with a sigh, you sat on your bed and laid back with your arm over your face, already tired of your roommates and the constant bickering that happens within your group. maybe selling karasu and shidou during the outing would benefit you.

after a little bit longer, the france team was called out and anri awaited everyone at the entrance. "i hope that we'll be able to trust you enough to be without a chaperone" she spoke in a sort of motherly tone, making you laugh softly into your hand. the thought of anri being a mom was kinda crazy; she was definitely more of an older sister.

loki spoke with anri a bit longer while you conversed quietly with karasu and little nanase, who mostly just stayed quiet.

"im still wondering what we're gonna be doing.." karasu said to you, jabbing his thumb backwards at loki. "that fucker wouldn't tell me anything when i asked.. pretended he had his damn ear piece out. that asshole"

you laughed at his words, covering your mouth when you got a little too loud and earned a few judgmental looks from the french players. "careful, babe" karasu snorted a laugh. "don't wanna be too loud, do you?" his slight innuendo paired with his annoying grin made you roll your eyes.

"like you could even make me loud anyway.." you scoffed slightly with a mean glare. "you couldn't even get me to begin with"

"right, i forgot the pretty girl was obsessed with the loser itoshi" karasu sneered at your not so intimidating glare.

ignoring his words, you followed the group towards the bus that would take your team. you noticed rin and passed him, slightly nudging his arm. "i don't like you" you spoke in an unbothered tone and sent a look over your shoulder towards karasu. it was petty and unnecessary but to you, your own dignity and respect was on the line when it came to rin and the other males in blue lock.
