*Forgive me for any mistakes as this is my first story, and feel free to point it out for me*

It was a fine Monday morning for Victor, a detective who had received multiple awards for his cleverness. He was strolling through his garden when he suddenly received a call from his office. "Hey, Victor, I need you here urgently," a manly voice said with a hint of concern. It was his colleague, Tom, who had just started working a few weeks back. Victor went to the office to find out what was going on. On his way there, he saw someone suspiciously handing something to another person. He shrugged off his thoughts, thinking he was becoming suspicious of everything because of his job.

When he entered the office, he saw Tom frantically searching for something. When he asked what it was, Tom replied, "It was the project we were working on." Upon hearing this, Victor's eyes widened because that project was important, and he had been working on it for the past year. Victor started searching for the document with Tom. After some time, they decided to rest. Tom asked, "Why is that document so important?" Victor replied, "It has the evidence of the murders done by Raven." Tom was shocked and said, "You mean the killer who killed almost 100 people and left no trace behind?" Victor replied, "Yeah, I have been connecting the dots for the last murder," he said. All of the murders done by Raven were of immensely wealthy people, but the last one was a commoner.

They searched for a few more hours, and when the sun set, they decided to leave. But before leaving, Victor asked Tom if he wanted to join him in hunting down a ruthless monster. Tom agreed, and they joined hands to unravel the masked murders by Raven. They agreed to meet at a coffee shop nearby to discuss the next step and went back to their houses. Victor went back home and saw one of his vases was broken. He figured that someone must have entered his house while he was gone. He was too tired to check his surroundings for clues about the intruder. He went directly to sleep, but little did he know that the intruder was still hiding in his room. He woke up in the middle of the night to quench his thirst, he felt that someone was in his apartment, and his thoughts didn't let him sleep again. While he was scrolling through his phone, he heard a glass break. He ran to the kitchen to catch the intruder, but he had already escaped. He looked everywhere to make sure nothing was stolen. He found it odd that none of his things were stolen. He tried sleeping but he couldn't.

So, he decided to search his apartment for clues about who the intruder might be. He thought the intruder might have left strands of hair or something that could help him find out who had encroached upon his apartment. It was now 6 in the morning, and Victor was getting ready to head to the cafe where he said he would meet up with Tom. Victor assumed that the cafe was crowded as it was one of the best cafes in the city, but it was quiet and empty. He saw Tom and walked over to the table, they ordered coffee and started discussing the missing project. Victor asked, "Why is this place so empty today? It's usually tightly packed on Tuesday mornings." Tom chuckled and explained to him that the owner of the cafe was his friend, and he had asked his friend to open it a bit later than usual so that no one would be eavesdropping on their conversation. They were exploring ideas on how to find the project back.

While they were discussing, Victor thought this might be the best time to talk about last night's incident. He started off saying, "You know, something really strange happened last night." Tom, who got curious, asked, "What happened yesterday?" Victor narrated the whole scenario and Tom's reaction was one of shock mixed with horror. Tom's reaction was puzzling to Victor, who couldn't understand why the mention of the break-in had such a deep effect on his colleague. Victor, looking at Tom's shocked expression, inquired, "What's bothering you, Tom? Why the shock?" Tom hesitated for a moment before responding, "Victor, last night, while you were at home, I got a call from an unknown number. The person on the other end warned me to stay away from our investigation. They knew about our pursuit of Raven and threatened that we were getting too close." Victor's eyes narrowed as he absorbed this revelation.

The pieces of the puzzle were slowly coming together, creating a more complex and dangerous picture. "Someone is actively trying to hinder our investigation, and they might be watching our every move," Victor muttered, his detective instincts kicking in. Tom nodded, his concern deepening. "I didn't take it seriously at first, but after hearing about the break-in at your place, it's clear we're dealing with a formidable adversary. Raven might have powerful connections or an accomplice."

As they delved deeper into the mystery, Victor and Tom realized that their pursuit of Raven had taken an unexpected turn, plunging them into a web of intrigue and danger. The missing project, the ominous warnings, and the break-in all pointed to a shadowy figure determined to keep their secrets hidden. As they sipped their coffee in the quiet cafe, the duo understood that their partnership had just become more critical than ever. The hunt for Raven had evolved into a battle against a hidden adversary, and they were determined to uncover the truth, no matter the risks involved.
