Lost and Found

 Victor, responding to Tom's urgency, headed to the office over the weekend only to find not just Tom but also two senior colleagues waiting. Tom, sipping on his coffee, beckoned Victor to join them, hinting at a pressing matter. The senior detectives, making an unexpected visit, seemed to have a lead on the identity of the intruder. Alex, one of the detectives, shared his strong suspicion about the possible culprit. Victor thought about for a while and asked the two detectives to join him in unraveling the murder mystery. The detectives backed away from his invitation because it might endanger them. 

Once the detectives left, they went back to their desks and started working. Evening hit the day, and they went back to their homes. Victor was eating dinner when he heard is doorbell ring. As Victor opened the door, he was greeted by his younger sister, who had been away on a trip and decided to surprise him by returning home unexpectedly. Ava, his younger sister asked "How have you been doing? Oh, I heard your project went missing, is it true?", victor nodded. "Oh, it must have been sickening. But don't worry I will help you in finding it". Victor was feeling lucky to have a sister who had the same job interest as him. They slept after a while. 

Victor and his sister quickly got ready for their day at the office. As Victor and his sister, Ava, entered the office the next day, Tom couldn't help but notice the unfamiliar presence of a feminine figure beside Victor. Curiosity getting the better of him, Tom inquired about the new addition to their team. Victor, with a smile, introduced Ava as his sister who had just returned from a five-month trip. Tom, slightly surprised, welcomed Ava to the office. 

Throughout the day, Ava proved to be a valuable asset, seamlessly blending in with the team as they continued their work on unraveling the mysterious project disappearance. Her enthusiasm and fresh perspective injected new energy into the investigation. Tom, acknowledging her contribution, began to see the advantage of having Ava on board. 

Ava was cleaning the warehouse when she spotted something familiar, it was a book. Ava immediately understood it was the project that went missing. She scanned her eyes through the pages and found some pages torn, but the pages that were torn were really important. She ran to her brother, excitement bubbling within her as she clutched the found project. Bursting into Victor's office, Ava eagerly shared her discovery. Victor, amazed and grateful, examined the recovered project, realizing that Ava's keen observation had led them to crucial information. Tom, overhearing the commotion, joined them and learned about the breakthrough. 

The torn pages, though damaged, provided vital clues. The trio, now including Ava, collaborated to piece together the missing information. The senior detectives, intrigued by the development, decided to join forces with the team, setting aside their initial concerns about endangerment. As the day unfolded, the collective effort of Victor, Ava, Tom, and the senior detectives brought them closer to solving the intricate murder mystery surrounding the missing project. The unexpected return of Ava proved to be a turning point, not only mending the torn pages but also mending the threads of the investigation team, creating a stronger bond among them.
