The party ended, the guests left and now Eliz was left with her thoughts.

The ball finished, and I was laying on my bed thinking about John. He is such a sweet guy to be honest, I think I kinda like him. Just thinking about him makes me smile.

I was rolling in my bed while thinking about him.

As I rolled restlessly in bed, thoughts of him kept swirling in my mind.

Suddenly, my mother's voice broke the silence. "My dear, what's going on?"

Startled, I looked up at her. She had a playful smile on her face. "I didn't mean to surprise you," she said, "but I'm curious—who is this man who can make my strong daughter blush so easily?"

I tried to dismiss it, brushing off the subject. "Mom, it's nothing. I was just thinking about an embarrassing incident. I wasn't blushing."

She chuckled, still wearing that teasing smile. "If you say so," she replied, and with a wink, she left the room.

Oh god how do I meet him again? Dear god, if he was in my destiny. Please reunite us, again.

I woke up from my beauty sleep and glanced at the clock.

Oh no, it's already 9! My class started at 8!

I rushed downstairs and found my mother in the kitchen, preparing breakfast, while my dad lounged on the couch, engrossed in his newspaper.

"Well, well," my mother teased, glancing up from her work. "Looks like your class actually starts at 10, but usually, doesn't everyone start their classes at 8? And today is your first day, too. I'm sure you'll make quite the impression, even if the new girl has missed one whole lecture."

Her playful taunt made me cringe, but I couldn't help but smile at her good-natured ribbing.

I left for university after checking myself in the mirror.

As I stood before the enormous building, I sighed before entering the vast compound.

I hurried inside, trying to navigate my way to the principal's office, when I suddenly bumped into what I thought was a wall—only to realize it was a person.

"Why build a wall instead of a chest, Mr. Stranger?" I muttered.

He chuckled softly before saying, "You don't remember me? I'm John. We met at the bar—on your 18th birthday, I believe?"

My eyes widened as I took a closer look at his face.

Oh my, he was right. This is the most handsome human I've ever seen. I guess destiny really does want us to be together. Thank you, universe.
