Taehyung, October 9, 1985, Outskirts of the City of Blane
Did my mother tell them to get me? Are they officers or they that noble's men? Is he going to take me back to his mansion?
I get up from where I'm sitting and look outside through the hole in the wall. There are 8 men outside, all in royal uniforms. Did my mother send the royal army after me?
"Go check that shack." One of the officers orders. Two of the soldiers come towards the shack and I back away. I quickly slip through the broken window and run into the forest.
Unfortunately, my steps aren't that quite and I hear the soldiers yelling behind me. Glancing over my shoulder to assess their proximity, I unfortunately encounter a protruding root, causing me to stumble. I tumble forwards and hit my head on the rock. I hiss in pain and feel blood trickling down my forehead. I ignore the pain and get up again but I'm pushed back down by a harsh object.
"Got you, pretty boy." A blond-haired solider sneers. The others join the soldier and peer down at me.
"W-what do you want?" I ask. "Please, I did not do anything wrong. I-i didn't mean to kill her!"
"Oh pretty boy, we do not care about your crime. We are only here to follow our King's order." The soldier says and I guess he's the head.
"What- what do you mean? What have I done?" I utter, fear crawling into me.
"You and your kind are threats to our Kingdom and our beloved King. You deserve to be dead, filthy peasant." The blonde one replies. "It's really a pity that a boy as attractive as him won't be able to make the most of his looks. Can I get one night with him? I promise I'll slaughter him afterwards." The blonde reaches down to touch me but before he can, I raise my hand and blast him with ball of fire.
The man screeches and falls backwards, clutching his burnt neck. The fire's flames engulf him, setting his entire body ablaze. The others watch wide-eyed, fear and confusion in their eyes.
"W-what the-." One of the soldiers yells but is cut off when a vine wraps around his ankle, yanking him down.
The soldiers lunge forward, swords in their hands but I blast them away with a streak of ice. They stare at me and their obliterated swords.
"H-he has m-multiple powers!" The head yells.
"Yes, I do." I say, confidence in my voice. The fear from before is no where in sight. The moment I unleash my powers, I experience a profound connection with my innermost identity, fearlessly embracing my truth and refusing to keep any part of myself hidden.
I feel alive.
With a twist of my finger, water rises from the nearby river and hurls towards the fallen soldiers. They look up in fear, as the water looms over them.
"I am not that easy to kill."
Jungkook, October 10, 1985, Royal Palace of Azura
"We killed them, Your Highness." The royal guard informs me. "A troop of soldiers is likely to be in the process of returning, having presumably put an end to the last enemy."
I nod and say "Good. I will be proceeding to my conference shortly. Please ensure all necessary preparations are made."
"Of-course, Your Highness." The guard bows and turns around to leave.
Finally, I can live without the fear of those individuals stealing my kingdom.
"Your Highness!" I hear someone yell. I swiftly turn around to see who is it.
What I see, surprises me. There is a man in front of me, and it seems highly likely that he is a soldier. However, what catches my attention is the fact that his entire body is completely wet, and his skin is marred with unpleasant red bruises and lines.
"May I inquire about the events that led to your current state?" I ask.
"Kim Taehyung, Your Highness." The guard replies, fear in his eyes. "I can't even begin to describe how terrifying and monstrous he is. Displaying a multitude of abilities, he skillfully dispatched each and every guard that was sent to bring about his demise. I'm the only one that escaped his wrath."
"Multiple abilities?" I say, tilting my head. "I was only informed about one?"
"He can control natural elements. He shot one of the soldiers with a ball of fire, the other was held back with vines, and some were drowned. He even broke our swords with some ice." The guard breathes out.
"Where's his file?" I ask. All of the gifted people had files about them. I haven't read all of them since I am unfamiliar with the identity of Kim Taehyung.
A guard standing behind me and walks towards the me and passes me the file. I grab the file from his extended hands and he quickly bows and walks away.
Upon opening the file, I uncovered personal information pertaining to the aforementioned boy. I flip through the sheets, skimming through the boy's information. But a certain flash of colors catches my eyes and flip back to see what it was.
A photograph of a young boy stares back up at me. As I gaze at the photograph, I am captivated by the breathtaking beauty of the boy before me. His face is a masterpiece, with perfectly symmetrical features that seem almost too perfect to be real. His eyes, a mesmerizing shade of blue, draw me in with their depth and clarity, while his wavy brown hair frames his face in a way that seems almost poetic. At 17 years old, he exudes a youthful charm that is both endearing and captivating. His body, with its gentle curves and grace, hints at a quiet strength and confidence that is both alluring and intriguing.
"What a beautiful boy." I say under my breath. As I gently touch the image of the young boy, I am jolted back to consciousness, clearing my throat in the process. "How long would it take to go to Blake?"
"Not long." The guard asks. "Your Highness, what shall we do?
"I'll go meet the boy."
