Taehyung, October 12, 1985, Royal Palace of Azura

My hands throb from the constant pull of the chains that are wrapped around my feet and arms. My powers aren't working and I bet Jungkook has something to do with that. He betrayed me. He told me that he would help me, teach me, protect me but he lied. He locked me up as if I'm a wild animal in this Royal Palace.

I trusted him and he deceived me.

"I see that you have woken up." A voice calls out, startling me. It's impossible for me to forget that voice, the voice that told me lies over lies. My eyes find him through the cell bars.

"Let me go, Jungkook. I promise that I'll never come back. This place is suffocating me. I can't stay here," I plead, teary eyed. He looks at me with an amused expression.

"Why would I let you go when you could be a solution to many of my problems?" he asks, tilting his head. Jungkook motions a guard to open the cell door. The guard immediately opens the door and Jungkook steps inside, his crimson red cape draped across his shoulders.

His features are impeccably chiseled, his gaze intense and alluring. His breathtakingly handsome appearance commands attention wherever he goes, leaving onlookers spellbound. Yet, beneath the surface lies a manipulative nature. There is a certain power in his gaze, a hint of something dark and irresistible that keeps others guessing and intrigued. Despite his alluring appeal, there is an underlying sense of caution around him, a reminder that beauty can sometimes mask darker intentions.

And I got caught up in his lies.

He wraps people around his finger and I was one of them.

He does not look like the man I met, the one who promised to shelter me. The mad man in front of me looks like a true king, a shimmering blue crown on his head and the finest clothes on his body. "You are my deadly weapon, dear Taehyung. You could win me all of the kingdoms."

"I will do no such thing. I am not anyone's weapon," I protest.

"You are my weapon and I will use you however I would like," he replies. "You have only one option; you will assist me in conquering the world."

"You cannot force me!" I cried. If I join him, he would make me kill millions.

"I most certainly can. I am the King and you will obey me," Jungkook declares. "Your training starts tomorrow."

"No! Kill me, just don't make me do that!" I yell at him. "Jungkook, I'm not a killer!"

"Don't call me that. I am your king and you will address me as Your Highness," he hisses. "Nothing will make me change my mind. Your powers could win me every single battle. I can be the king of all kingdoms and you would be my weapon." Jungkook turns around and motions his guards to open the door.

How many times has he called me his weapon? I cannot even recall.

"Why are my powers not working? I try to call for them but I don't feel them?" I ask, suddenly.

"The chains around your feet and arms are specially designed to stop you from using your abilities. I got them made before I went out to get you," Jungkook replies, not looking at me. "Supper will be served in a hour today, but don't expect to be provided with meals everyday if you won't cooperate."

"Why are you a monster? Your Highness!" I yell as Jungkook takes a step out of the cell.

My sudden outburst makes him stop. He turns around and looks at me, the expression on his face unreadable.

"I was made into a monster," he mumbles. The King walks away from the cell and the guards lock the door behind him.

I need to get out of here.
