Chapter two

Ivy Kades

Mom didn't seem to shocked that I had asked that, neither did dad. They both must've assumed that we would want to know. "As you know you both were taken from us, the days we did have you and actually kept you with us was the best days," father said giving both is human and demon daughter a smile. "But word spread around that two girls were born, because of your father's blood, you two became targets," mom spoke with sadness laced in her voice.

"Wait, what do you mean by 'because your father's blood'?" Max asked, still shirtless as it is. "Your father is a demon, a Rex Ultimium Ilumonium to be more specific," I could literary hear Katherine and Max gasp, I guess Soren figured it out and I truly did not care, I mean our life is a shitload of crazy. "He's a what?" Max yelled. I elbowed him harshly and glared at him.

"Yell to our parents again, I dare you," even Katherine glared at Max. It is her family that she loves. "Please continue, sorry for my out burst," Max was reluctant to apologize. "Well after the girls became targets we had to go to a very powerful sorcerer, he then made the necklaces out of the elements. When Katherine's demon came out, we figured she would get fire and earth, but earth was turned to darkness. Ivy got water and air, two things needed for a light user," mother smiled fondly at me.

I was more of a daddy's girl, but I am human like my mother. Dad smiled at both of us, and I would guess that he would be closer to Katherine because of her demon. "What we're our names you chose for us?" Katherine asked them, knowing from the way they cringed she figured she had a different name. "Katherine, your name would've been Kristen if you were not take, Ivy would've been Avalon," mom had tears in her eyes.

Katherine saw this and hugged her. "But due to circumstance of the royal line, Ivy is the new queen of the kingdom," father said which probably would've ticked off Max, Max knows that Katherine is a queen and deserves the royal title. "It's fine father, back in Anara I'm queen, I killed a king close by the kingdom so I guess our land grew," Katherine said standing perfectly still.

As if waiting to be yelled at. "Your reason?" Father looked right into her eyes, locking them with hers. "They would've killed Ivy if I hadn't done it." She spoke defiantly. Father nodded, knowing our sister bond started early on. "How did you two find each other?" Mother asked, I saw the door slowly open and two little heads peaked in. I nudged Katherine and motioned my head to the door.

Katherine saw the two young kids and smiled. "I sorta went into a place where I wasn't suppose to go, she save me and I wanted to repay her, that's where we found out about the powers," Katherine smiled at the two and waved her hand lightly. "And that's also when I found out Max is a dick," I added to her statement.

Max snarled at me but I shrugged it off. "Olivia, Chris, come meet your sisters," mom said and in walked the two youngsters I love. They both ran over to me and hugged me tightly. "Ivy!" The yelled in sync hugging my legs. "Hey guys, meet your other sister, Katherine," I pointed at Katherine who seemed a little uneasy.

They both ran to her and hugged her too, she was startled at first but laughed it off. "Katherine, the kingdom won't run itself," Max said looking at Katherine who looked back at him. "Yeah I know, maybe I'll come visit as soon as I get the shadow travel thing down," Katherine said looking at mom and dad who understood she needs to get back to her kingdom.

She can't leave the kingdom, it's her home where she grew up, it's where she can rule. Besides me being first born I take this throne and after being taken, she takes her own throne. Later that night after word got around the kingdom about the twin girls being found and both girls being queen, we had to say good bye to Katherine and Max who headed back to Anara.

That kingdom has got itself taken care of, because one thing I know for sure. Katherine will do everything I her power to protect that place. No matter what cost. Who knows maybe she'll make Max her king if she doesn't have an arranged marriage.
