Chapter 18

Ivy's POV

I awoke to te morning sun but a pain in my chest. Like it wanted to kill me, something horrible. My initial thought wa to check on Kath but that's when I felt someone hugging me. I looked to my left to see Soren asleep. Though I suppose I had to hate him for hurting my sister I couldn't really hate him. My sister is a demon, in a good way, and Soren is someone who fights demons. I mean what else is he?  He's gotta be someone- wait, why is he in bed with me? Oh god.

I tapped him lightly and he stirred looking at me with golden eyes that scared me before turning blue. "Hey," his husky voice made me a little attracted to him, but I am attracted to him since I first met him. And when my sister first met him I assumed they weren't on good terms, well more like he and max.

Speaking of, where is he? "Ivy you okay?" Soren looked a little lost but watched me with curiosity. That's when I noticed the lack of space between us. "Fine, just fine," I quickly felt someone pounding in my head causing me to groan and pull away. 

Ivy?

Kath?

Yeah what going on?

How should I know, first thing I get when I wake up is pain then Soren

He's still with you? And why the pain?

I don't know, were you think bad thoughts?

Kath!

Sorry I couldn't help it! I'm suppose to be queen of all demons! And here I am as a mear human until I can go back.

You aren't going back unless I die going after you

She stayed silent as the pain increased causing me to scream. Then all of a sudden I saw something I didn't think possible. A flash of gold surrounded me, incasing me in a bubble while I felt pain strike threw me. Then the voice of a child's whisper. 'Everyone has a good and bad side,' it said softly before a defening voice boom through. 'But evil concurs all.' 'Not unless she isn't evil Marthulis, you've claimed one of the girls she is the balance between them,' the soft voice said calmly.  

'Besides, Soren has protected her, is keeping her safe, the bubble keeps you from her, she will posses all the good angle atrobutes before you can lay a hand on her,' the voice sounded almost pleased. 'Oh I don't need to touch her, her sister is under my spell with the surum the twins put in her, the Queen of demons is under my control and she will kill her own sister, she must, it's part of the prophecy for the demons to win,' the booming voice seemed to have one when it finally left.

I woke to see Soren looking at me intently before I blacked out cold.
