Chapter 16

Soren's POV

I had left the room and found a guest room so I laid my Queen on the bed. Me being who I am I didn't want to sleep with her because of how I grew up but she caught me off guard. "Walk out of the room and I'll kill you so lay down with me," she mumbled holding my hand tightly like she was scared. I mean I would be too if I were in her position. Slowly I laid down beside her trying to keep distance but she laid her head on my chest and slept soundly. I sighed and decided I might as well sleep too, but I couldn't. Not with what just happened earlier. I could've lost her, I could've died trying to save her. 

Thing is I never really told her why I came to her. And I probably won't either. I love her, she and I are destined to be, there's no stopping it unless she decides to be with someone else and I'm just a friend. Doesn't it hurt to know your love is going to get hurt in the long run if you tell her that you two were meant to be? Of course her safety is my priority, I can't explain what I feel for her. I just know it means even more that the simple words of 'I love you' it means so much more than that. Maybe I can work things out with her. Maybe we can be together but for now she and her sister have a prophecy to fofill. 

One that only these two can do. Maybe just maybe, max and I can save them. In the end he and I need to be there if not, well we lose the ones we love. The ones we care for because we weren't there. I have to tell him. I just have to tell Max about our futures and why the twins were really separated. It was to stop them from stopping the war. The one my people and Kathetine's have been working together to stop. The one war a can't lose ever. Or in the end every thing we ever dreamed of will vanish. 

Thinking of this I don't notice my arms had latched around Ivy, protectively. I sighed, I need sleep and these thought are what keeps me up. So I myself go, to darkness that fogs up my head until I'm fast asleep and out of it until I stir. For now I need Ivy by my side, for now I'll be content with her, her sister, and her sister's lover.  Only for now.
