How did you know...?

Lucifer had always found it difficult to understand his feelings. After Lilith had left him, he never thought he would like someone romantic lyrics again. He decided to focus all his emotions and time in helping Charlie instead of finding someone to love. Well, that's what his original plan was, anyway. But then, after only knowing the demon for no more than two months, Lucifer found himself head over heels for the Radio Demon. The worst part being, Lucifer didn't even know that's what his feelings meant.

Yes, Lucifer found Alastor attractive. But that could have just been a form of admiration. Yes, Lucifer found Alasotrs jokes funny. But that could have just been because he and Alastor enjoyed the same dark humor. And yes, Lucifer wanted to do everything in his power to keep Alastor safe. But that could have just been because Charlie considered Alastor a good friend.

It was all so confusing, Lucifer had never felt that way about anyone else but Lillith. But it couldn't be love, it just couldn't be. He was the king of hell, and Alastor was a mere overlord. A knight in Lucifers hellish game.

But then why did it hurt whenever he saw Alastor around other people? Why did it hurt when he couldn't see the deer demon? Why did it pain him to see Alastor hurting...?

There were so many questions in Lucifers mind, but he didn't know the answer to any of them. He wanted help, but he had no clue who to ask. He couldn't ask anyone outside the hotel, or else he would be seen a mockery by all other sinners. That's when he remembered. Angel was gay.

It was around 10 am. when Lucfier found Angel sitting by the bar in the hotel, Lucifer was extremely hesitant but carefully approached him.

"Greating, Angel Dust. I...need your help.." Lucifer spoke, trying to keep his voice as steady as he possibly could.
"Shoot." Angel spoke as he took a sip from his drink. Lucifer cleared his throat, letting out a shaky breath before he spoke. "H...how did you know..?" Angel raised a brow in confusion. "Know what?" Lucifer fell silent for a few seconds before he spoke in a more hushed tone. "..that you were attracted to men...how did you know..?" Angel turned in the barstool he was sitting in, one of his hands holding a drink while one of his other hands rested on his thigh. Angel was taken back by the question but gave the best answer he could. "Well, toots. It's a bit different for everyone. I suppose for me, it was when I had my first crush on a cat cutie I  met when I was sent down here. It kinda just happens, I suppose it's the same as when you get feelings for a girl. You wanna be around them, hold them, love them, and in my case, have a bit of fun with them." Angel spoke, adding a wink to his last comment before he finished speaking. "It's a bitch to work through and accept, it's like the stage sof grieve. You gotta get through the denial to get to the acceptance. But once you accept it, there's no going back. But it's one of the best decisions you can make, toots. You gotta be you, no matter what or where ya are."

Lucifer was silent as he took in everything Angel said for a minute or so before he gave a nod. "Thank you, Angel." Lucifer spoke, his smile softening a bit. Angel gave a smile. "You're welcome, toots. Now go get your  man." Lucifer was a bit taken aback, but gave a nod before he went off to go find Alastor.

Angel let out a sigh, taking a sip from his drink when he saw Lucifer disappear around the corner. A small smile began to creep its way onto Angels lips when he was brought out of his trance but a rough and grumpy voice. "A cat cutie?" Angel smirked, rolling his eyes before he spoke in a teasing a seductive tone. "Yes, dear Husky. But it seems like the cat cutie turned into a cat daddy." Husket rolled his eyes, lightly smacking the back of Angels head with his wing before he spoke. "Shut it, or I'm going for the face next," Angel chuckled, watching Husker turn away to whipe off a glass that was sitting on the counter. Husker cursed at himself as a small smile began to make it ways to his lips.

It seems Lucifer wasn't the only one who had been caught in a lovers snare.
