Eggs Gone

Fits POV

Its now been 2 weeks of Pac staying here. Mike has begun building a house, saying he'll come get Pac to live with him when it is done.

Pac can walk almost completely on his own. Im so proud of the progress hes made. I only need to grab his hand now sometimes when he stumbles a bit.

I was making breakfast when I hear footsteps behind me. I turn around and see Pac sit at the kitchen table
"Bom dia fit" he said

"Good morning Pac, im just making breakfast"

"Ooh what are you making" he asked

"Ive got pancakes for all 4 of us"

Ramon had always lived here since hes my child, but the brazilians got kids too. Pac is one of richarlysons many parents, so richarlyson is staying here as well.

"Nice, pancakes are richas's favorite"

"Thats great" I said "KIDS BREAKFAST" I called out

We waited to hear the sound of tiny feet as the kids make their way out of their rooms.

But there was no answer.

"KIDS" I called out again

Still nothing

"RICHAS, RAMON" pac called

Still nothing

I rushed over to check their rooms, pac right behind.

Their beds were empty

"Where are they" i asked pac

Pac was about to respond when a message showed up in the communicator

Philza: has anyone seen chayanne and tallulah?

"Chayanne and tallulah too?!" Pac said

"Are all the eggs gone?" I asked, as I typed in my communicator

Fitmc: richas and ramon are gone too

Similar messages came in from all of the egg parents on the island

Philza: lets all meet up at my place to try to figure things out

"Lets head over there" i say to pac. He looks like he might cry, and a tear starts to roll down his face.

It takes every part of me to stop myself from reaching over and wipe it away.

I instead opt to just put my hand on his shoulder
"We'll find them, dont worry"

He nods and I notice his cheeks get slightly red as he glances at my hand. Was he.. blushing?

I push that to the back of my mind, our kids come first

I grab my warp stone out of my pocket and put my hand out for pac to take.

He hesitates for a moment and then he does, as I select phil and missa from the warp list. We both disappear then end up on top of the wall

Pac POV

We reappear at phils base, and i let go of fits hand, our fingers brushing together as our hands move apart

I feel my face start to get red again and turn away from fit quickly, hoping he didnt notice.

The rest of the egg parents were there, all talking at once

"I think we all need to calm down so we can figure out whats going on" bad shouted over the noise

"HOW THE FUCK CAN YOU BE CALM" Celbit yelled

"Calma calma calma" roier siad taking his hand "we'll find them all

I wished I could have something like that with fit. Im just too nervous to talk to him

"Ok everyone, i think we need to search for clues. We should see what the federation has got to say"
Phil said

Everyone agreed and started talking of a plan to break into the federation for intel

After the plans had been made, we started to head out

"Want to come check out the new place im building pac" mike asked me

I looked at fit "ill be back home later, im going to hang out with mike"

"Alright ill see you there" fit said as he warped back to his house

Mike and I walked towards the new build and talked along the way

"So hows it going with you and fit?"

I looked at him, the shock on my face must have been obvious

"Come on pac, I see the way you look at him. You cant tell me you dont like him"

"Mikey im too nervous. I thought I was hiding it well"

"I saw that blush on your face when you held his hand to warp" mike said smirking "I can tell he likes you too. When phil was talking every time you weren't looking, I can see him stare at you. You dont notice his face getting red when you turn back?"

"He does?" I ask, astonished. I never thought someone as cool as fit would like me
"I dont know mike, what if we're wrong"

"Well theres only one way to find out pac, you need to talk to him"

"What if I ruin our friendship. Hes probably the closest friend I have other than you"

"Dude you two would be perfect together Pac" mike said "you need him right now with richas gone, and im sure it would be a good distraction for fit not having ramon right now"

"Youre right mikey, but im too nervous"

"Just try it pac, ok"

"Ill try mike"

With that I headed back towards fits, somehow more nervous than ever before. Could it be true that he likes me as well?

I knock on the door like I usually do, and hear from inside "Pac for the hundredth time, you dont need to knock you can just come in"

I open the door and see fit on the couch. His eyes look puffy like hes been crying. But ive never seen him cry before

"Oi pac, hows the new house" fit asked

"Its going good, mike said it might be done in a week. Are you ok fit?"

"Im fine, when did they say we'll be breaking into the federation"

"3 days, in the middle of the night" i said "do you wanna watch a movie or something fit, we got to take our minds off of this for now"

He hesitated a moment then said "ok, why dont you find something to watch and ill make some popcorn"

I sat down and grabbed the remote, scrolling through to find something to watch. I found avengers and put it on. Fit then came back with the popcorn

"I got popcorn for us" fit said. I let the movie play and sat back, taking some of the popcorn.

-Time skip-

the movie is about halfway through when i feel fits head lay onto my shoulder. He fell asleep. Poor guy, exhausted from worrying about the kids all day. I let him stay there and just watch him sleep tuning out the movie in the background
