Despite just being a fluff, Jack and Seth are both aged up to be about early adults! Just a heads up :3
~~
Cool breezes hit the face of the two men that walk alongside one another down the half-misshapen sidewalk, corroded by weather patterns past and negligence from being kept in tact. Seth, with a smile on his face looked over at Jack, figuring that they were going to arrive at the skatepark any block now, noting that the two of them had been walking for about 20 or so minutes at that point and of course, Jack was never one for walking if the distance was far enough."So.., you came here as a kid? Even before we met and stuff?" Seth asked, Jack grinning and nodding to the other.
"Yeah- shoot, how long ago has it been? I know this place like the back of my palm. And I even know there's a conveniently located convivence store nearby if you're willing to hop a few fences!" Jack teased, Seth's mouth opening in surprise, opting to slap Jack's shoulder lightly.
"And you always wonder why Emmett thought you were up to no good! You really didn't give him a reason to trust you." Seth replied, Jack shrugging.
"The old man never trusted me in the first place, might as well've made it worth my while." Jack rebutted, Seth nodding.
Silence.
"Well- if you really did wanna go there afterwards, we just gotta walk another few blocks which- I guess isn't too awful...sorta." Jack laughed, Seth laughing as well, both men's hardy laughter rebounding off one another.
They continued on, reaching the skatepark just mere minutes later, them turning another small block and into a parking lot, the setting sun illuminating the few car windows that occupied said parking lot. Overhead lights had come on and coated the parks pavement and railings in a bright white light; a huge contrast to the foliage surrounding the park, only littered in small peppers of waning sunbeams in the crevices of tress and rocks.
The two men walked closer towards the pavement itself, once on, Jack took a running start, holding out his skateboard and dropping it, diving into one of the pits of the park, ramping back up on the other side and then back down to the other side, only stopping once he met Seth again, a tad out of breath, adrenaline already overtaking him.
"Jack! I thought you were here to teach me! Not just look cool! And hot- and- jeez.." Seth uttered, Jack's cheeks tinting as his face grew into an uncontrollable smile.
"Relax, Seth! I just wanted to get myself going is all, you can't expect me to be at a skatepark, board in hand, and not do a few dips at least once!" He chuckled, Seth rolling his eyes.
"Yeah, yeahhhh. Well maybe one day I'll be better than you! Just you wait Jack!" Seth added, Jack not minding the sound of that in the slightest.
"Alright, alright. First things first, you gotta actually figure out how to balance on the board!" He stated, setting his board down off to the side and grabbing Seth's from the others hands, placing it down in front of Seth. Jack then grabbed Seth's hands, carefully helping him onto the board, keeping note to plant his foot in front of one of the four wheels so it wouldn't slip as easily.
"And just- carefully step up onto it, alright? You gotta make sure your balance is good, keep one foot in front of the other- like that, yeah." Jack spoke, guiding Seth even over the smallest motions, Seth's own adrenaline kicking in now due to finally being on a skateboard- at a skatepark- close to the edge- oh lord.
