He thought he'd escape the fate of his father. If not that then at least his clutches, but that proved wrong as he had been convinced by the narcissist to marry a girl he hadn't met. One just like his mother had been bought for the future of the Todoroki family, to create an heir worthy of the title of No1.

He had no resentment towards the girl, it seemed to be a last resort, but him, Endeavour, he hadn't spoke to him since he got back to his family home.

The home was empty except for his docile mother and tyrannical father. They all waited at the table in the living room waiting for the arrival of the girl who would sign the other signature of the marriage certificate.

Shoto's name was already signed when he got there, he hadn't much to say. He hadn't really had any luck with girls, though he knew he was rather good looking most girls were intimidated by the fact and the girls that weren't, he was oblivious to their flirting.

He wasn't getting old, far from, he was a young 23, only 5 years working as a prohero, he hoped that maybe you were pretty so then it wouldn't be hard for the two of you to have sex and pop out a few babies, maybe spares in case one turned out a failure like him or his villain brother.

Your quirk from what he heard was weak, but could be developed into something amazing, you could control weather ranging 5 metres around you.

He didn't care much for your quirk, it was his father that cared about that. It was your situation and quirk that put you in the position. His mother wasn't showing any emotion regarding the situation, she hadn't said anything since Enji told her about his plan.

She had thought he had changed but he couldn't stop the voice in the back of his head telling him he could produce the best hero better than the ex symbol of piece.

Almost on cue rain had began to patter against their windows.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Your fingers fidgeted as you walked to the door your father by your side. If your face didn't reflect your mood the weather surely did, rainfall surrounding you and your father wind rattling the trees and cold surrounding the two of you.
"Y/n stop being so petty." Your dad commanded.
You immediately stopped your silent protest, the sky clearing as the summer air swirled into the atmosphere.
Your dad knocked on the door staring with his lips in a tight line. You had no problem in an arranged marriage, you had always believed that would be the way you would get married, regarding your family's situation, but you thought you'd be able to meet the guy first, go on a few dates to see if you wanted to get with him.
This was not what you wanted. You hadn't had much experience with guys, not because of your situation they just didn't seem to notice you, no matter how hard you tried and when you did have guys coming up to you, your awkwardness due to lack of male contact would put them off.
You once asked a guy if you could squeeze his pecs.
You weren't one to focus on heroes either, they were a disinterest to you. Like politians or army vets they just seemed like people that should work without fans. You knew of Endeavour, you knew his son Dabi, but that was it.
You knew you weren't getting married to the imprisoned villain so who else did the Todoroki's have in their household.
The flame hero opened the door, you stared like an idiot. Your father holding your head down to follow him into a bow.
"Good Afternoon, Todoroki." He greeted the larger hero.
""Good Afternoon L/n. I hope your journey wasn't hard."
If only he knew the journey from the taxi to his front door felt 5 years long.
"No it wasn't." He answered, walking past the hero as he held the door open for him. The two of you removed your shoes at the entrance walking into the corridor.
You were awestruck, yes it was big from the outside, but inside the house it was massive much bigger than your smaller flat in the city centre, and it was so 1920s so cute you thought as you followed the bulky man into the living room.
Sitting next to a beautiful older woman, was an even prettier man. Your smile was lopsided almost dopey looking as you stared at the boy as if he was a painting. He might've been a painting. He was so handsome, the most attractive guy you'd seen. You sat across from him, your dad sitting opposite Endeavour them discussing things between themselves, giving you time to examine the man infront of you.
You stared shamelessly, he was amazing to look at, you could tell his parents made him with love and not a quickie in the toilet of Tesco.
Shoto stared back with an equal amount of shame. You looked, boring.
No that wasn't it, you were quite plain.
There wasn't a trait on your face that popped out and made him want to go wow, but there wasn't anything to be put off by either. There just wasn't anything special about your appearance, he feared that he might become disinterested in you.
He looked at your eyes and they were average, your hair was average your lips nose were average even looking at your body there wasn't any special about it either.
Yes plain was the perfect way to describe you.
You stared at eachother for a few more seconds before you extended your hand to him.
"Im Y/n." You greeted. He took your hand in his, his grip strong as he shook it.
"Shoto, how old are you Y/n?"
"I'm 21, how about you Shoto?" You asked testing his name out, you liked it, it was pretty just like him, your smile grew, you hoped you didn't look weird.
Shoto watched your smile grow and his chest fluttered. He found it very pretty, not boring at all, he almost stuttered with how such a small thing could change your face to the point he would call you beautiful.
" Leave the idle talk for now, Y/n put your signature here."
