chapter 3

Leorio's POV:

It was 4:00pm. half an hour left... gon was asleep from 2'oclock. While he was asleep, I got him an adminsion from the famous hunter school which is near our apartment. 

I got myself a job near as well. I can't let my dream be at vein! I have to study hard to become an doctor! so that no one can loose their loved ones...

I have a problem here... I'll have to leave early since the college is a bit far away. who'll take care of gon though? I'll have to find a solution for that sooner or later. we still have three days free, that should be fine.

15 minutes left...how about I take gon with me too? I think it'll be a good idea. He might save me if me and kurapika ever get into a fight...

I got over were he was sleeping. I lightly shook him, he didn't even buldge. I thought he was in a deep sleep but then..."BOOM! hahaha did I scare you papa!?" "uhhh...."

I look at his eyes. Oh my god! I can't just ignore those puppy eyes!"...yes, yes you did" I said which made his smile even more wide. how are the muscles near his mouth are so fexible? I'll get a reserch in this when I go to college.

"You want to go outside?" I asked him. "YES! YES! YES! YAY!" he then started to scream in excitment. Lord, please give me this much strenght when I go back to my working days...

"then get ready cuz we're about to leave soon" I told him. "YAY!" he quickly jumped and ran to his own closet. Atlest he have manners...well, sometimes not. 

We both got ready. I locked our apartment door and we started to walk down the road to the nearest park. Gon started to do his little parade march. I chuckled at him. After sometime, we reached the park.

Gon's eyes were sparkling at how much live the park was with kids playing here and there. I got a hold of his hand. "let's go a little deeper, shall we?" he then nodded vigorously. We walked around the park a while untill we stopped by a angrybird which had balls.

"oh hello there again" I said to the person infront of me, glaring draggers at me. "oh hi there Mr.who-don't-know-i-am-a-boy" he said with a frown on his face."A frown doesn't suit you're face darling". He got suprised and turned his face to the other side."moron..." I heard him mumble.

He then noticed gon who was looking at us, confused. He bend down to gon's level, waving his hands."Hi there! whats you're name?" he asked gon. Gon slightly blushed embrassed by the sudden encounter with the person he saw yesterday.

"G-gon p-p-paradinight, I'm s-six years old!" he said, eyes closed out of embaressment." Kurapika softly smiled at him. "My name is kurapika, nice to meet you" he said. "N-nice to meet you too kurapika-san!" "Just call me kurapika, ok?" he's eyes widened but quickly changed into a big smile.

"You want to play?" he asked gon. He asked me to come here because he wants to play with gon!? I thought to myself. gon nodded again. "Then you'll have a task to do first". Now I'm confused. I look at him with a 'are you serious?' face. Gon had a dumb look at his face.

"what is it?" gon asked. I looked at him for an answer. kurapika got up and pointed his finger towards a kid with fluffy white hair, silently playing in the sand with his toys. I couldn't see his eyes since he turned his back to us.

"I want you to befriend him"
